TP-solar TOPSFO-60 60 Watt Solar Panel Kit

I wanted something to take with me for various markets and drone fly events to keep things charged. I also have a Jackery battery box and they sell portable solar panels to go with it for about $300. This was a little too much as I could see some on ebay for half the price.
I wasn’t sure what to expect for half the price but this panel exceeded what I expected. It is very well made and folds up in a briefcase form with carry handles. Each panel also has a fold out leg that might prop it up for use assuming no wind. There’s also some carabiners to help ties it down or something?
More important it came with a set of plug adaptors and one of them was the correct one for the Jackery input. So of course I had to try it out in the driveway for a couple hours. The angle wasn’t perfect and the sun was getting low but the Jackery reported a consistent 70 watts charging. (it has it’s own solar charge input I used direct to the panels). Given my experience with solar panels this is probably pretty good. I also noticed that the Jackery reported 70 watts when using the AC charger so maybe that’s just what it requires.
This panel also came with a USB/12V charge controller. Other than to briefly power it up I haven’t looked into this yet but it could be useful for charging phones and stuff without the Jackery around.
All in all I am very happy with this purchase and look forward to using it this summer.
