This is my second Suner panel and it’s working just as well as the first. Ready to go out of the gate. Got it plugged into my controller and connected to my battery bank. Within a day and a half the battery was recharged. My last 60 watt panel took just about 3 to 3.5 days under a similar load. Very affordable for how well build it is.

I purchased this Suner Solar 20W panel to maintain and recharge two 12-volt batteries which have been installed in my Mighty Mule 2000XL gate opener. This gate is located more than 100 feet from the nearest power source. The power line to the gate opener even installed in an underground electrical conduit kept failing for one reason or another. So, I decided to install the Suner 20W solar panel about 8 feet for the control box. I mounted a Suner solar panel on a bracket and attached this to a 1-1/2-inch diameter steel pole (see photograph). I connected the SAE power cable from the panel directly to the two batteries inside of the Mighty Mule control box and skipped hooking up directly to the circuit board. Using this method of wiring from the solar panel directly to the batteries has worked great and has kept the two batteries completely charged for over three months now. The gate is fully operating daily without any loss of charge from either battery due to the quick charge provided by the Suner solar panel. The system works perfectly and is highly reliable now. I am very pleased with my purchase. Excellent solar panel. I highly recommended this product.

I purchased Suner Power’s 50W 12V system with external controller over 1yr ago to power a Deep Cycle battery that opens our farm gate. It has been flawless and I like that I can see the green light/red light from a distance (at night) to confirm that all is well.
I doubled down and bought a smaller 20W charger to maintain a few of my older car batteries. I really like the included mounting hardware and am especially excited about the integrated controller. A very simple and clean setup.
I’ll report back on an update after the new system has been running for a while. I’m confident based on the quality and longevity of 50W system.
One other plus has been the customer service. I asked a question about setup of the original system and heard back via email very quickly with a response.

And the included items, SAE connectors, 3 piece SAE cable kits, Z brackets made it fun to install and just great that all the stuff was included.
And Yep it came with the screws as well!
After opening the box I did not see any charge controller included or mounted on the back of the
SUNER POWER solar panel.

The Sales Support Team At SUNER POWER was very fast getting back to my emails and got all my questions answered.
For now I have a 2009 4X4 TOYOTA TACOMA and I do not drive it, and the battery was going dead even after I started the Tacoma one time every week to try keeping the battery charged.
I got the SUNER POWER 12V Waterproof Solar Panel and Battery Trickle Charger Maintainer – 20 Watts Solar Panel Built-in Intelligent MPPT Solar Charge Controller on my Tacoma For about 2 weeks now and no more dead battery!

So I can save a electronic, copy of the user guide as a PDF on my home desktop.

And I did not see what or how big of a battery is recommended for a 20 W panel.

I bought this to add to my array of 100 watt Renogy Solar panel, as the dimensions listed in the add were identical to the renogy panel. However the thickness was noticeably less, and the assembly seemed quite flimsy. I returned the panel without testing its performance.

It seems to help my fourwheeler battery stay charged but it wasnt quite enough to start it with the jumper cables atleast after a day of the panel charging but it was flashing & I will try it again & repost if it does work!

Quality looks good and it’s plug & play with the charge controller. You don’t have to use the controller but it’s cheap enough to run and it plugs right in. Build quality looks great. Excited to replace my 60w panel so I can charge up my trailer battery quicker.
My Eyes Are Up Here! –
Panel is well constructed, a bit flimsier than Renogy panels but better attention to quality control than Dokio. I like the red positive cable which is a thoughtful attention to detail. Was the best price point when I purchased it which was the motivating factor in purchasing this panel but I would have no reservations about buying it again. I’ve been using it for several weeks and power output has remained within expected specs.
