I bought 4 of these panels after Hurricane Maria in 2017 and they work. I have 2 x 100Ah batteries and they get a full charge in about 2 days. (I only use the batteries at night so they are not in use during the day)
I find the efficiency is terrible. I don’t get anywhere near the 8A per panel BUT the batteries are being charged so I’m not too bothered.
Packaging could have been better. One panel was smashed but luckily it still works. If shipping these panels overseas, you may want to repackage them yourself.
After 2 years of use, I’m satisfied with these panels even though they are not the most efficient.
Here’s my setup:
– 4 of these Mighty Max solar panels
– 2 x UB121000 100Ah deep cycle batteries (bought on amazon)
– 2000w Vertamax pure sinewave inverter (bought on Amazon)
– 80A PWM charge controller (I read somewhere that an MTTP works better)
