Great kit that is easy to install. Even charges in over cast conditions. So far mount to my van roof they have held up to highway driving without a problem

We purchased the five 100 w Mono solar panels for our 33ft 1994 Winnebago RV .The order came in a lot sooner than expected and the quality appears very good! They were packaged well and included a letter from the company. Everything that was advertised in the kit was in it as well. We’ve had bad luck with other companies on Amazon but this isn’t one of them. So far so good, I’ll be posting an update as we use them more and more. We’re really impressed with this company and I’d recommend them to anyone purchasing solar panels.

I’m using this to run a ventilation fan where I couldn’t run a real cable. It works great, with RC4 plugs already on there. Like all PV panels, you have to realize that panels don’t actually produce the ideal wattage under normal conditions, even ideal conditions— so always oversize the panel. There are also a number of calculators out there that will tell you the proper angle to mount the PV panel relative to the ground for each month of the year based on your latitudinal location.
I would have liked to see it come with some mounting brackets, because it is not easy to figure out how to attach this using ordinary brackets and stuff from the hardware store. Eventually I ended up finding an Instructables article that showed how to effectively mount it.
It’s been outdoors all summer so far, so far so good.
EDIT 11/2020: it’s been over two years and it has kept on trucking. I’ve never taken it in or covered it, and it has withstood the test of many severe storms (and countless bird droppings). Rinses clean with a blast of hose water. Frame is in fantastic shape— in fact, much better than the non-pressure-treated wood it’s mounted on.

They are working great. It was easy to figure out installation, that was good because the instructions are poorly written.
The system is producing over 1kw power per day in the middle of winter.

I purchased a ACO Power 500Watt, 5 Panel Kit a few days ago. I have it together and it is working beautifully on my 2020 Coleman RV giving me full off-grid capability.
I am thankful for companies such as ACO Power as they have made me totally independent of the power system. I am both off-road and off-grid. I love it.

Yes, when I first got the solar panels they were missing parts, the parts that hold the solar panels to the roof. I was mad and wrote a bad review. I will recant that review and say that these panels are awesome. I cut the cable 🙂 well I cut the power to the 5th and I am now totally off grid. I have 6, 6 volt batteries, two each are in series and 3 pairs are in parallel, I changed all lights to 12 volt LED and wow I am totally off grid. I love it. now I do not expect my new solar system to run my AC units. I can tell you that the solar has made a difference and I am very happy.

Installed and ready to go off grid. I’d intended to mount on the roof but the kit came with plenty of cable to just run the wires out the front of the trailer and set the panels on the ground. I did order a stand for the panels separately, but I’m happy with the decision and with the lack of worry about leaks or panels flying off on the highway. I also purchased separately 30a DC breakers for the lines from the controller to the panels and to the batteries and a box to mount the breakers. Overall, a good kit and recommended for people like me who are new to solar and don’t want to buy all items a la carte.
