The ancho screws supplied are not long enough. I had to bend/flatten the mounting bracket on one of them the get the best sun exposure. I also had to use a pen tip to turn it on. You cannot turn it on with your finger. It has no instructions on the AI button in the instructions or video.

We’ve had issues with our cars, during lockdown, as we have hardly used them – so the batteries are not getting good runs to recharge the batteries and we have had to jump start them more than once as there’s not been enough power. I bought a normal, plug into the wall, charger but wanted something else. I’ve really been getting into solar power – all our garden lighting is solar, and we now have solar on our roof – so I looked to see if such a thing (a solar trickle charger) existed. I was surprised by how many there were, to honest, but most of them weren’t very powerful and I needed something fairly big as my car battery is twice the size of a normal battery because of the engine size (5.2L) and needing plenty of juice to get the car started.
I bought this one due to the size / power of it, and also that it looked good with the design and metallic feet / rope loops on top. In use, it’s simple and easy to install. Just attach the clamps, red first then black) and position the unit in place. Mine sits on top of the boot, with the wire feeding into the boot at the top so it is secured in place. It takes a few seconds to put in place / remove, so I can use it / take it off as and when I need it. It keeps my battery ticking over, and no more weak / flat battery issues since I’ve had it. I’ve also had 3 different people ask me where I got it as they want one for their cars!

They good BUT!! They stop working below 40 degrees. I noticed one day that it was cold. They were not charging. After it warmed back up they worked again. Still working. Just will stop when cold

Wasn’t sure how this was going to work but for the price it’s awesome! This would be great if you will be canping off the grid and need some power. It would also work well for a boat owner when youre out on the water and if the battery needs a charge. In the sun we got 20 volts of output. It turned out to have more power than we expected. More than enough to charge a battery. Definitely will be recommending this product to others!

I wanted to like this I don’t know if it was defective but it charges fine when in the sun but when the sun goes down or over night it discharges my battery on my atv . A little disappointed.
