Have a 95 jaguar XJ6, battery is normally in need of a charge after several weeks, installing the solar panel keep battery charged and no need to charge after several months. Great investment.

Suction cup to window, plug into your 24/7 12v cigarette lighter socket and this handy device will trickle charge your battery .
Great for leaving your stereo on in a parking lot!

The item title clearly states “Waterproof”. This is why I purchased it. The document enclosed with the item states “Do not leave out on rainy day, will cause short circuit.”.
That doesn’t sound very waterproof to me!
It also suggests that it can be used to charge a boat. How do you charge a boat if you can’t leave it outside? To only have it connected when you are with your boat is useless, it is far too small to have any impact on your battery.
If you are going to put this in your car, it may work, but as a battery maintainer for a boat – useless.

I like how it works, I don’t move my diesel suburban a lot(suburban uses 2 batteries), and before I had to jump start it every week, now it starts like it should.
