Pikasola Wind Turbine Generator 400W 12V with 3 Blade 2.5m/s Low Wind Speed Starting Wind Turbines with Charge Controller, Windmill for Home
$269.99
- ★ Feature: Starting with low speed; high wind energy utilization; low vibration on operation, high efficiency.
- ★ Wind Blade: 23.4inch in length, made of nylon carbon fiber. The longer the blades are, the more kinetic energy they generate and the more power they produce. Nylon material waterproof, corrosion resistant, lightweight.
- ★ Generator: three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor. Efficient and compact ac generator with high performance NdFeB permanent magnet. A fully integrated voltage regulator that automatically shuts down when the battery is fully charged. The wind generator is controlled by MPPT intelligent microprocessor, which can effectively adjust current and voltage
- ★Rotating Body: with yaw adjustment system, the wind direction position is automatically read and the rotor position is adjusted to capture the maximum wind energy. The tail fin is designed according to the aerodynamic principle.
- ★Real Parameter, Not False: Our product parameters are Real & Actual, not False. Base on designed after repeated experimental testing. Wind turbine parameters can be customized, please contact us if you have requirement.

Excellent customer service. Product shipped promptly and arrived quickly. The entire win-turbine arrived in a single well-marked box without issue. Assembly directions were clear and easy to follow and the turbine appears to be well made – and robust. I’m excited to see it in service and look forward to using it as a remote power system for my chicken coop.

This turbine struggled to make ANY power in steady 15 mph winds. Worse yet, it was consuming about 200 m.a. at around 10 mph once the electronics woke up. I waited to return the turbine since a storm was rolling in bringing up to 40 mph sustained winds. The storm came and the turbine was absolutely screaming. Peak amperage with a 47 mph gust was 9 amps at 13.2 volts. (This works out to 118 watts) almost 75% below this touted 400 watt business advertised. The healthy and tested 75 ah. battery was deliberately depleted to 50% for this test. No loads. Just the battery. Unit was mounted in free air 20 above sea level. Zero obstructions in all directions at the end of an open marina here in Seattle. I have owned other turbines in this same class and build (Air X marine) and it produced more than 40 amps in similar conditions.
Some other notable crap in this bundle include, but are not limited to are:
Noisy rotor bearings, short and undersized output wires, useless rectifier/controller, toy-like inaccurate anemometer.
In closing, curiosity got the better of me to see if a $260 turbine that looked, and was reviewed this well could be true… Nope. Everyone that slammed this product knows what a reputable turbine company puts out as their product. Save your $1500 or so and buy a Rutland wind charger or Air X breeze.

purchase this to go with my solar system.
the turbine charger controller light is green and when the blades spins there is another full green light that comes on the left side of the first light.
when putting a meter on the output wires; you can see it’s 12.2 ( -+ 2) ( 12v system) as it fluctuates. besides these numbers I don’t think you gettting anything to the battery.
this was checked during a very windy day.

I have always believed customer service to be the most important thing for a company and these guys nailed it. I had a question about the turbine I purchased and I received a reply within hours on a Saturday night that was very helpful. The unit was packaged nicely and well protected and appears to be built just as good as the $1000 units.

Decided to add to my solar farm with this wind turbine. This is my second one and it works great. The wind speed meter is handy, allowing you to judge its output versus wind speed.
It can be a little confusing to assemble, it does come in numerous pieces. The manufacturer make a solid effort to negate this and includes fairly thorough instructions which I never read until I screw up or get stuck.
I would recommend this turbine to someone looking for a little supplemental power.

These are great! I have three here in Colorado and they are as advertised. Quiet, start up in light wind and deliver the power. They were so easy to assemble. Getting every bit of power as tested each many times.

Initially had some issue with the unit. The company was very supportive and sent what I needed right away. You need to realize that rated power is at ~30m/h winds. The 10-15 winds we get each day will produce much less power. Hind site, I shout have bought the 5 blade unit which has a lower starting speed

This is wind turbine number 3. We’ve had 2 Air X turbines fail in our winds and the Air X was incredibly loud. We have steady winds to 30mph and rare gusts to 100mph. We have a 40amp break switch and a rope tied to the back so we can “lock” it out of the wind when it gets to strong. Very quiet turbine. Today is gusts to 50 and I don’t hear it in my house. I’m waiting to save to buy another turbine.
