[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love RING products since I already have the ring video doorbell 2. I am very excited to have the stick up camera plug-in. It is currently being used inside our house since I’m still waiting on the battery plug-in that I ordered. It is a plug in and can also be used with battery pack which is more convenient to install it at the front of our house by the garage due to recent burglary in our neighborhood especially when we go out of town and it’s the holiday season. As expected, the quality is excellent, the audio is clear and the set up is very easy to follow and so as the installation process. Also, it has a cool feature called Motion snooze if you don’t want to be constantly get notifications when you’re inside the house and there’s a setting for privacy parameters so you can customize areas you want to be seen and not seen by the camera if you don’t want your neighbor’s area to be captured in the video. I already have an annual plan with our ring video doorbell so I am also adding the stick up cam so I can easily save recordings and monitor any activities outside my house. I am very happy and glad to have the stick up cam plug-in because it is also doable to be used with battery pack. In my opinion, camera and Video monitoring is a must have for a house coz you’ll never know what people are up to now a days.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this for reviewing purposes, The setup was very easy all you have to do is download the ring app. The ring product I received is for indoor or outdoor setup . I choose to place it inside my home however, I may want to put it in a different part of the house than where its currently sitting. I’m still trying to get some understanding as to what else the camera can do however, as of right now I’m happy with it I Even decided to add the Ring Doorbell . I would definitely recommend this product it’s great for security.

From the moment I opened the box Theere was post card to scan the square code to my phone. It opens up my Ring app ( I already have the app) and the video showed me the easy steps by step instructions on how to set up the Cam. From mounting it, to the finish install software & finding my WiFi it was less then 10 minutes.
I have a large porch and there is an outlet that I was able to plug in to. This cam can be used with the ring rechargeable battery( not included)
It’s very clear & having the extra security of my porch & front yard is important to me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our third Ring camera. We have the doorbell camera, motion spotlight, and now this stickup camera. Overall we are happy with our Ring cameras. They are easy to install and get connected to the app. Love the peace of mind they bring whether we are home or not. Our Ring purchases as a whole were spurred by an incident when my husband was out of town and I was home alone with our young children. It has given me considerable comfort knowing what is going on outside our home. We love being able to know when packages are delivered, when contractors show up to do work, and even when we have unexpected visitors. This stick up camera was placed above our garage door to cover areas the doorbell camera can’t due to our house layout. It is is discrete but does a good job capturing activity. Also really love the night vision feature. We did encounter an issue with our spotlight camera and Ring stood behind their product and got it fixed. The only other drawback we have run into is that sometimes there is a delay between the activity and being able to pull the video up on the app. Not always in real time and sometimes the person at the door is gone by the time the app connects. Overall not a huge issue but a little frustrating. We would buy more Ring products.

Love our ring stick up camera also have a ring doorbell. Happy recommended it to several co-workers and friends and most of them have gone and purchase one. it’s a nice wide view of our driveway and more. Was simple to mount and install. will also be trying to purchase another one-way spot light and siren. I have had three different security camera systems through the years but now I am sticking with RING.

Bought this Ring camera to go along with our other Ring products. We wanted a camera to keep an eye on our living room and dogs while we are gone. Setup was very simple. Connection with the app was a breeze. Orientation can be changed in the app so you don’t have a sideways or upside down picture. I was able to adjust the settings for privacy so it does not record audio. Probably something everyone should do. This camera will constantly stay on and record everything if you don’t properly adjust it. The only issue I have with this camera is when I activate the audio and try to talk into it, the sound is very distorted. It’s not a connection issue on my side. I believe this could be an issue on Ring. Other than that, this camera is great.

I used to have Nest and I switched to ring a couple of years ago and have found Ring to be superior in both functionality, price, storage and ease of use. I prefer this to having an actual home security company with 24/7 monitoring and contracts.I really like these cameras in black. I wish that option had been available when I first began using them; most of mine are white and more noticeable. This is the 12th Ring Camera I have purchased for my home. The instructions are intuitive and make the installation process a breeze taking less than 5 minutes. I can easily view everything on the dashboard. It is easy to save footage for sharing or downloading if needed. I do, however wish they would modify the Home/Away features to function independently so that specific areas could be “armed” and others not.
Recently I’ve noticed that the blue light comes on in the master when there is no movement or trigger while I’m watching TV. I believe indicates it is recording. I am the only one that has access so that makes me a little paranoid but I do not see anything amiss in the dashboard nor have I noticed anything odd on my router. Weird. But seeing my home and dog while I am out provides peace of mind -which is priceless.
