See in color through the night
With Lorex’s exclusive Color Night Vision™ you’ll be able to see full color images in low-light conditions. CNV gives you more detailed video footage and realistic images true to their original form (such as the color of cars or clothes). It also provides increased contrast for easier detection and recognition.
Long-range IR night vision
In regular nighttime conditions that are too dark for CNV to render full-color images, this camera will use it’s infrared LEDs to record crisp black and white video footage up to 130ft (40m) away and up to 90ft (27m) in complete darkness.
Weatherproof & cold climate capable
Although this camera is suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation, its IP67 weatherproof rating and aluminum casing means it can withstand pretty much anything, such as heavy snowfalls, rain or wind. After much research and viewing many other systems in operation I went with Lorex. The image quality is awesome both day and night. I have enough yard lights so I get color night vision also. Great resolution. Can zoom in for close looks at distant objects. Recorder fan is noisy, but will extend lifetime, I guess. Cameras are lightweight and easy to mount. POE (power over ethernet) makes cabling pretty much a non issue as the power is routed on the same cable as the video signal. Recordings are equally high resolution and noise free.

It was an easy job to do the equipment testing and none-permanent wiring. Will wait for attic to warm up before doing final wiring and configuration. All cameras and NVR are working very well and as per specs.

I was very happy with the cameras and NVR. The resolution is very good. The only recommendation I have is to purchase a 4K monitor to fully experience the resolution the cameras provide. I initially went cheap and used a standard monitor (HD) and it is Night and Day with a good monitor.

So far we have tested all the cameras and installed one. Overall happy so far. Set up was Simple but I think I need to do some adjusting. Night vision isnt as clear as I would have expected and when theres a person it leaves a ghost-like appearance and blur behind the moving image when viewing on my phone…hoping I can look into it and make some adjustments.

The box did came opened in one side during shipping but everything thing inside was properly packed it was just the shipping box. Camera and NVR were easy to setup and I like the crisp and clear picture quality. Very happy with the purchase.

Received unit and proceeded to check out the cameras. All was fine. Then set out to intall/locate the NVR but everywhere I put it the fan noise is not acceptable. Was to locate in my study where my PC and monitor’s are but cannot live with the fan. Don’t have a way to measure the fan db’s but even with my poor hearing it is way too noticeable.
