[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is really an AMAZING camera. I love this camera for the quality and the operation. As soon as you pick the camera in your hand you will know that is not cheaply made. I got it for monitoring my front area/sidewalk to monitor the front of my home. Ezviz is known for their easy to set up (less than 5 minutes) and love being able to view my front of the house while we were on vacation. While we were away we had a new front porch installed, I loved being able to watch the install as it happened and if I had questions I could have uninterrupted conservation with the installer. The picture quality is so awesome day & night and this camera have night color vision. All thou the night color vision is limited to about 18 feet, and it act as a flood light but you have option to set it up either of three ways as a night vision, color night vision and smart night vision. As for notification the camera is really prompt as long your internet is good. This review is coming from the person that already have 28 of ezviz cameras 2 systems of 8 cameras in business and rest of for my private properties. I try so many different cameras but none of them worked like ezviz.

Pros:
-Ultra HD quality of the video
-could zoom in quickly on my screen and see close picture
-have two ways talk that pretty loud and can easily hear if your child outside and you can call him(her), I can response back if needed
-it has siren, so we can warn if someone will try to get in to the house or touch our cars.
-It has live view or you can see playback history
-also I like that I can easily select any date to preview record of previous days
-also you can choose if you want to connect to router or to wife , so you can select this option .
-wide angle of the picture
-also has color night vision
-also works with Alexa and google assistant
-securely stores in cloud
With this type of camera we feel more secure as we could access through our phones, we can get notifications with motion detectors.
The manual is very useful as it has many languages to choose , was very easy to set up in the phone and easily can share access with other phone just sending invitation by phone or email . Also what I like I could scan the barcode and access manual in different languages, in app the app we can select what language we want it to be . Very happy with the quality of this EZVIZ product . I have different types of cameras around of my house and I could say this one I like very much and would buy more such cameras to use in one application .
Cos:
-compare to non wire camera , this one needs more installation as we have to do the whole through the wall to make sure it will be connected to the outlet. But other then that I don’t see any problems .

Just download the app and link your phone number and email and the app walks you through the set up. Very easy! The instructions for mounting the camera are very simple. I love that you can hear and talk through this. The picture at night is very clear. I love the security light and siren to ward off intruders. Highly recommend this security camera.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really really like a lot of things about this camera. It came packaged VERY snugly (see picture) so there is no worry about it arriving damaged. It feels very heavy in the sense that if a bird or something runs into it, it should take it like a champ. It has an inlet for an ethernet cable, and a VERY through set of plugs/connectors to make sure water stays out! It came with a drill template and screws with wall sets to make sure it stays in place as well!
I was able to sync it to my EZVIZ account with zero issue, which was very nice! The quality of the picture is VERY clear as well. I don’t think you’d have any issues with identifying someone with it at all!
Now, with all this good stuff, why did I get it 4 stars? This being an outdoor camera, the power is a VERY important factor, which unfortunately is where this device fails in my opinion. The power cable is VERY thin, which is good because it means it’ll fit through a secure window, but bad because if someone really wanted to be malicious it could also be easily cut. I don’t like that the data is only stored locally on the device or in the cloud which has a monthly fee. I have an EZVIZ 4 camera security system I wish I could hook this through to that somehow, or have it automatically backup to my Network Attached Storage (NAS) or my google cloud.
My other complaint with the power cable is it is VERY short, around 5 feet or so, which doesn’t give you a lot of options as far as where to put it. There isn’t a lot of length to run it behind your siding, your soffit, etc and make it look nice, you’re GOING to have that black cord dangling from this camera.
All in all it’s probably better fit to be an indoor camera due to the power cable length and the lack of an onboard battery backup, but it’s an all around solid camera.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this camera inside my craft room to keep an eye on my tumblers, so I can not comment on weather proof ability.
The design of this camera is typical, but it has two antennas on it. It is quite heavy, I keep it just laying down pointed at my tumbler turners. I love that it sends me alerts (and you can pick the type, such as motion, person, vehicle, alarm or system) I do change it up, night times I just want MOTION alerts.
The apps is very easy to use and simple to set up. I do love that you can add more devices to it too!
The picture is clear and I love that there is an alarm option too, keeps the cats out of my room!
Overall, it is doing the job I need it to and doing it clearly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had mine set up in front of my garage now for a little over a week now. This is the 12th ezviz product I have owned and the 7th different model of camera. Opening out of the box, you can tell this is a solid built camera that should hold up the the wonderful weather of Ohio (heat, rain, snow, cold). The setup process has gotten even easier over the last few years as they release new cameras. The amount of time to set up on my account was maybe 5 minutes if that. I like the redesign of the mount hinge. This allows you even more flexibility when pointing the camera. The picture quality is fantastic and connected to my wifi very easily. There are a few features I would like to see that could probably be done with a future update. Having the ability to designate an area to trigger recording would be nice. Right now it triggers every time a car goes by since it faces the street. Also being able to use the built in spotlight as a motion activated spot. This may be a feature already built in and I havent figured it out yet. Overall this is a solid camera that should last for a long time. I would recommend to anyone and have already done so to my father in law for their summer home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just bought a new studio and decided to set this up as my main outdoor security camera, and the features of this camera are perfect for my use. It’s wide, plus is clear enough to read license plates for one thing, but my favorite feature is the spot light feature. I haven’t had a chance to setup an outside light so this feature helps a lot and shows color at night because of this spotlight feature as well. There is minimal lag, but it is there, but only at full quality from what I have noticed. My 2nd favorite thing is that it integrates with google devices as long as you turn off encryption then it shows on their screens. The siren feature is also great although it’s most likely a feature that I won’t use often, but happy it’s there.

The app allows me to do so many things (I can view live video, talk to people, zoom in, get alerts, etc.). The color night vision is just awesome. The quality of the picture is impressive, the image is sharp and clear. I love it and I feel more secure in my home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was very easy to install. I did it by myself and took less than 20 minutes. It does require an app. Which only took a few minutes to download. That’s just something to consider as far as phone storage space. It does have night vision which shows great at night. I’m currently using it for the back of my house and I can see great at night which was my biggest concern. The range is at least 50 feet. No monthly fees was the next biggest plus for me.
