3 out of 5 stars wouldn’t change a thing! This driveway alarm has literally saved two marriages. Before i had this alarm, I had a hard time getting my neighbors wife out the back door when my wife came home. Now I can get her out with time to spare. And since we have two sensors (incredible range by the way) we’ll know when Dave gets home too. Great guy Dave helped me install the sensors.

This drive way sensor system works like a charm and has already paid for itself in just a few weeks. Not only is it sensitive enough to catch the traffic going by (just a quick adjustment to the direction I had it facing solved this) but it catches the people and critters sneaking up onto my back deck. For a female living alone on a very busy road, and in a house that is well insulated for sound, this is a godsend. I can tell when someone is at the door or on the steps, or the back deck. Let’s me easily tell when the mailman drops a package off or when someone is about to ring the bell. It allows me time to get presentable or to be prepared before opening the door.
It also helped me catch the critter digging through my trash cans. Gotcha!!!
Funny story – the neighbor’s cat has figured out that if he goes by the sensor on the front steps, he can make the little blue light come on, and he can probably also hear it chiming in the house. Turns out the cat has a sense of humor, as he delights in setting off the sensors over and over and over and on purpose.
Update: Four months later and this is the best purchase I have made all year!!! Gives me a great sense of security because I know when there’s someone around. And I have yet to change the batteries. Also mine are out in the elements and holding up great, although I did bring them in during a couple of major snowstorms to avoid freezing the batteries.

I initially made the mistake or ordering four guardline sensors and one receiver from dhsw because it was only $73.82 as compared to about three times that amount from Amazon and it turned out to be a price that was too good to be true because what was shipped from china was a cheap “Lightning cable for ios/Android as the company has refused to refund my money. Seeing very positive reviews for 1begone system I ordered the two sensors plus one receiver plus an extra sensor from Amazon rather than the guardline system for about five times the price. I mounted one sensor but other than the single mounting screw giving flimsy attachment it has been amazing. Mounted under a kitchen window facing a swinging door into a hallway and sliding doors into a bedroom the sensor covers the window, both doors and well beyond thus exceeding the 25′ suggested range and has detected both a visiting rabbit and a slab of snow and ice falling from the roof. the other two were mounted to sense movement at a kitchen window and back door and window into a utility room. I would have expected the detection of the warm bodied rabbit but was surprised that the frozen ice/snow slab was detected as have been branch movements on trees located up to 60′ away in high winds but otherwise I was so impressed with the one motion detectors mounted so far that I ordered another receiver and two sensor package and two extra sensors to give full coverage to the front of the house and entrance to the barn. Another great feature if the 1byone motion detector system is that optional alarm sounds allow me to know whether the movement detected is at the rear or front of the house and barn and proceed accordingly. I solved the problem of branch movement detection at the rear of the house by removing the low hanging offending branches but will put up with the very occasional alarms set off by high winds rather than mutilating a spectacular white fir tree in the front yard.

We purchased this unit because of price and reviews and it did not disappoint! The ease of set really helped as we are older , we know when someone/ something enters the shop we have further away front the house . We found the spot where it worked best and have very pleased with the unit. Don’t hesitate to buy if you’re on the fence about which unit to get! We would definitely buy the unit again! The motion detection is very good , we have in in our back shop and it picks up my neighbors cat when she comes prowling around and we also love the ability to set the volume to lo , Med , or high.

This is a great little motion detector. I actually thought it was a light when I first ordered it. However, it still serves its purpose in a different way. And we like it.
It is extremely easy to install. It comes with two screws and two anchors one for each motion detector. The receiver/transmitter can be plugged in anywhere.
We have our motion detectors downstairs in our house and we keep the receiver/transmitter upstairs in the master bedroom.
We plug it in at night as we’re going to bed and the first person up will unplug it.
We’ve tested it in many spots and many different heights of people from small to large and it picks up all motion.
The transmitter has numerous options of music there’s even a Christmas song. We wish you a merry christmas. Couple of old Kitty songs and other piano classics. Huge selection. You’re able to turn the volume off or increase it or decrease it. you have the option to use only the light detection instead of music. So the blue light on the transmitter will flash. Or you can have the blue light off and only the music on. Or you can have both.
we actually didn’t even end up mounting it to the wall even though it’s still super easy. We just sat them in the two places we felt we’re going to catch what we wanted.
if you need this for your driveway or your backyard or inside your house in place of window sensors or whatever it’s a great buy.
