Nice looking unit. Easy to set up. I have installed the motion detector on a heavy sculpture that can be placed on a cabinet close to the door. My Mother has Alzheimers and this device will alert me when she steps out of her room at night. I have positioned the detector partly facing the wall to narrow its range of view to only include the room door and about 6 inches more. This way it won’t trigger the bell when she in in and about her room, but as soon as she reaches the door….ding-dong!
So far, I am very pleased with the sensitivity. The sound is a bit louder than I’d hoped, even on its lowest setting. I’ve placed a piece of cloth tape over the holes where the sound escapes, and it’s working great.

I bought this for my son who needed a heads up when the kids would sneak up and get into mischief when they should be sleeping. It’s works great, catches them when they sneak down the stairs. It’s not used outdoors, so no report on that, but it works great inside for kids, and probably burglars too. I would advise people to have a couple of these to alert them early of and intruders in the night. Inexpensive peace of mind.

Okay, I got this for my sleep walking kid. So the only thing I wish is it could be a little less loud. Also wish it had just a mono tone! But all in all the sound is great super easy to install
