Wanted to know if anyone was breaking into my cars or stealing anything. I have cameras but they notify my phone, I am looking for an audible alarm when motion is detected. I did not want another mobile app trying to send me a notification while my phone is on silent. With this unit you can control the volume and keep it next to your bed. If the alarm goes off I can check my phone and look at the cameras around my house. The sensors work well and I keep them on high sensitivity. In the month that I have had it I have had 2 false alarms that I believe are from the neighborhood cats that roam around.

Love this product. It works in -35 temperatures in Alberta, Canada. Recommended for relatives, who will be purchasing soon. Iโd love if it alerted my cell phone, when Iโm not home. Very impressed with this product.

Product came packaged very well , no loose parts to get broken, product is sturdy and will last , the sensors will pick up any motion within a 1800 ft range , the in in home base unit will let you know if something / one is in your lane before you can see it / them , well worth the cost for your safety , sellers were prompt at making sure your product comes earlier than expected, would highly recommend these sellers

We live on 10 acres with some rather steep rolling hills. Many opportunities for the signal to be blocked or weakened. Neither has been the case.
I purchased 3 kits of dual sensors w/base. We have the bases throughout the house, all sensors assigned to each base and different tones for each sensor so we know by sound which one is going off. Our furthest sensor is at least 900+ feet away and over a very large hill completely out of sight. And it all works BEAUTIFULLY!!!
Love these.
I added solar motion lights to the poles as well. They all look and function perfectly.

Like others, I ordered this item to give alerts for those coming into my driveway.
This system does the job quite well, right out of the box!
It is so easy to setup I defy anyone that can’t make it work right out of the box. Seriously, take everything out of the boxes (all items had their own), charge the transmitters until the led goes GREEN, mount the transmitter(s) where you want them… test… Really — other than needing a charge, they came ready to go.
Now — a downside here is that the transmitters batteries are actually connected already and I found them transmitting from within the box before I put them into service. The issue here is that you could end up with a dead and over discharged battery when you receive your transmitter. (Unless there’s a safety cutoff built in)
The kit came with everything you need — including a screwdriver.
The transmitters are VERY sensitive out of the box. Easily picks up over 50ft away. Your range may be similar and if that’s too far a reach, you can open the transmitter and adjust the sensitivity as needed. If it’s too sensitive you will potentially get false positives and that will definitely make you unhappy at 3am!
As to the receiver — well, not much to report for it. Takes 4 AA batteries or you can plug it in. It’s unclear if plugged in and with batteries if the batteries will still be used.
I think, really, my only complaint for this setup is that the power uses a barrel connection instead of a USB on the end that connects to the base receiver as well as the transmitters. I think if a standard USB connector was used it would make things a lot more universal when it comes to powering things.
In the case of the transmitters you only need the power connection to do an initial battery charge. The base ALWAYS needs power either by battery or adapter.
Unlike some other driveway alerts, this setup is limited to 8. It does not appear that you can create an 8 zone setup with multiple transmitters per zone — 8 zones = 8 sensors — that’s it.
If you think you will need more than 8 sensors, this is NOT the setup you want.
One last nice feature on this setup is that EACH sensor has the options for 32 different alerts. You can have them all different, or even all the same if you wanted. Certainly it would defeat the purpose if they all sounded with the same alert, but there may be a reason you want this. From other designs I have reviewed, that alert is for whatever number of sensors that are in that single zone.
All-in-all…. I think this is a good option to select. Low cost, simple to setup, simple to install, and the range is fantastic — easily reaching all the locations I chose with no issues. These are NOT wifi, and I can say the range on these is MUCH further than what a wifi would offer. I could not find out what freq they use anywhere in the documents that came with it, or online.
(update 2 – 2020-09-24)
In a previous update I expressed concern that this device showed no FCC certificate and questions to the company were replied they were unable to share details because of “business privacy”. I shared a concern that a direct e-mail to them got a denial of the request. The denial didn’t make sense given that it’s public information in this country.
I have since found the device does indeed hold FCC certification. Additionally, this device uses 433mhz. This is a part 15 device in use.
I continue to give positive score for this device — it works very well and performs as intended. I would recommend the alert device without question.

Has a great range! We purchased two detectors, one for the house laneway and one for the barn laneway. It’s a great feature that you can customize the ring so you know which laneway has traffic on it. I would recommend this product, it’s true to the reviews!!

I live in Muskoka and we get cold and snowy winters. The driveway alarm has been installed for a full year so I’m able to give a realistic review. It has worked flawlessly over the past year and I have never had to charge the batteries or even wipe snow off the sensors or solar panel. I just set it up when I got it and its worked perfectly. Including all winter. Highly recommended.
I did put it on a timer so it doesn’t go off in the middle of the night when a deer walks by. If you use a timer, unfortunately you can’t use the custom sounds. Everything the timer shuts off the power it diverts back to the original sounds. I’ve learned to accept them.
Only con is that I can’t seem to get the sensitivity adjusted to only include cars and not the deer when they come down the drive…

Works better than described.
This detector at my home at least detects motion 70 feet away. That is 200% MORE than advertised at the site. Be aware of this when you set it up that the default setting is set to HIGH (Longer distance). It did take me some time with playing with the settings (inside the sensor).
I found that leaving the sensor at the Default setting works very well for one of the sensors, while CHANGING the internal switch to the low setting works well for the other sensor I needed setup…
IF you open up one of the sensors to CHANGE the default setting (which is on high be default) just know that it will detect a human at LEAST the advertised 33 feel away (mine does so at 70 feet). Ya, I measured it…
Also KNOW that the small rubber gasket inserted into the lid of the sensor WILL likely come out a bit so be certain you roll it back into place before putting the cover back onto the back of the sensor (or it will leak). You can do that using the included screwdriver and gently roll it back into the slot on the back so it will be in place…
WHEN you align this sensor be aware of the field of view as it has a 90 degree vertical (I think it is 90). and around a 120 degree horizontal plane of view.
IF you angle it too low, it WILL pick up your cat, dog, etc which you may not want it doing so CHANGE the up/down angle accordingly (it WILL rotate up/down/right/left)…
It MAY take you a while to get it JUST right like it did me on my 2 acre property, but once done, I think you will LOVE how this device works ๐
I do NOT yet know how weatherproof this device actually is as it is warm/sunny here in Florida right now. I have however anticipated the need to put a UV coating over the plastic parts as UV KILLS plastic quickly here in Florida which is why I do this for my outdoor gear (tents, canvas, etc)… There are lots of UV (like a sunscreen but for plastic, tarps, canvas, tents, etc) products for this purpose on Amazon…
Ya, I put an UV coat on the Solar panel too of course and know from experience that unless it is GLASS< our UV will KILL that plastic covering in 1-2 years…

Christmas gift for my retired parents. We got the set with the receiver and 2 sensors. It is easy to install but unfortunately we did get one sensor that seemed to be glitching a lot so we did spend a lot of time taking it apart, re-reading instructions and communicating with the seller/company. They provided excellent customer service responding promptly to our questions and concern and asked us to try different things to see if we could get it to work. In the end they sent us a new one and asked us to return the old one and offered to cover the shipping. Once we got the new one …. what a difference… we just set it up and no problems since! ๐ My parents have an acre and now they know when someone is approaching their gate or if they come through the gate! They like it and itโs working really well for them!
