Avoid this product. There are many better alternatives.

Their warranty or complaint back up system is not up to par,
2 week notification is wrong and to test certain products applicable
until complete installation of said products, and when it takes about
3 weeks to get product. Company that sells the product has more than one
name but same company and address for what ever reason (sounds fishy)
isn’t represented properly, and to amazon not responsible even though company
acknowledged it was same on verbal communications (fishy waters). Product
was poorly shipped and product had come cosmetic damages unless this major
problem is also from shipping Also was told to wait 2 weeks for a product
to start working right (more fish to stink up the waters or to eliminate
warranty period from amazon). Sounds like amazon doesn’t want to be involved
maybe because of the sum of money. A poor attempt by a large corporation to
give false security to the buyer. They need to wake up and pay attention to
their sellers practices and product set requirements. Not a very promising
protection Plan for their customers. They need to get in contact with somebody
in the field that knows said information so they can be properly advised, that
is if they really even give a dam or only just a numbers game. They have along
ways to meet up with Ebay, Pay-Pal is much better to deal with.

I am very pleased with the unit. I’ve had it up and running for about 2 months now. It starts charging the batteries at around 8 MPH and the most wattage I’ve seen was 2600 watts in a 25 MPH wind. I’m waiting to see what it will do in a 30 MPH wind, though I am expecting to see 3000 watts out of it. It seems to be built very solid, and I don’t doubt it could survive a 100 MPH wind. At first I thought the tail was not adjustable, but it is. I’ve even considered buying another unit. There are a lot of opportunities in wind energy to not get good results, so I would recommend having a good understanding on the subject before making the purchase.

Hi I have purchased 2 of these units. the first one lasted 5 years. I did have to change out the bearings at 2 years, At the 5 year mark the magnets cracked and dislodged themselves and pretty much chewed up the wind turbine. The second one I had a shop put in Timken bearings in right off the bat. This one lasted a little over 1 year and the magnet left the stator and froze up. The moneys I have out for these unit I will never get back. These are made in China and the workman ship is terrible. I did not buy from this seller. I am off grid and was in great need of a wind turbine with dependability. When it did work it did work awesome.

I purchased this in the hopes it would generate power. It does not.
the box was smashed and the parts were free rolling in the box.I have since tried to assemble
the thing and it was welded so the tail was 20 degeees tiled.I have spent several days working to get the tail bolted together.I had to grind off the weld and remanufacture the tail spar flange which was wrong to begin with. the blades were only primed no finish paint and they were smashed due to poor crating. do not purchase this item.

I have been running mine for about a month now, I run it in unison with my solar array. I run a 48v system 2 banks of 8 6v trojan batteries. I have a magnum 100 amp mppt solar charge controller and 4600 watts of panels. I run a 12000 watt (yes that is a 12k) 240v Aims Inverter. Ther inverter alone consumes 200w just to feed itself. I live in an area of AZ that has consistant 20-30 mph winds. I added this turbine and cant be more pleased. On windy nites i can run my 1500w electric heater and still have almost full battery power in the mornings. I did have an issue with my controller i purchased to go with it so for now i run it mainly in the evenings under constant load and have a manual dumpload setup that is a water heater with dual 48v. 1000w elements. when i switch the output to the dumpload it is enough to keep the turbine under control even in 30+ mph winds. I had purchased a coleman air 10000 watt controller and it fried the instant i pressed the EDM test button. This is a long story and the unit was defective I would NOT recommend that controller. This generator will put out so much power it will kick my solar offline and have my batteries charged and in absorb mode on my mppt charger by noon on breezy days. I love it.

Heavy item I need to get help to put it up. The box was smashed a little but nothing inside was VISIBLY damaged. Will know more when I get it installed.
