Have made combiner boxes in the past and ended up paying more and a lot of time to put them together. This was plug and play and installed outside on roof of my Bus right next to the solar panels. 2S 4P and ran 1 double AWG 10 wire to Charge Controller from the Combiner box. It comes with fuses so just switch it off and hook up everything to it. When all done and CC is programed switch it back on and it will be ready for solar.

Ok product.
Gives whole new meaning to backwards engineered. The fuse box is backwards red is on and green is off..
Also the plug underneath are also reversed.. sp3 yeah for more.work to make it work

This works really well to connect multiple solar panels. It is much better than the 2-way and 3-way connectors, especially if your panels are high wattage. People need to keep in mind each MC4 connector (pair) is rated at 30amps. Multiple high-wattage panels all go through a single MC4 connector and can exceed its rating.
With a combiner box like this each panel gets its own fused connection that connects to a common high-amp circuit breaker. This is much safer. It also makes it very simple to ‘disconnect’ the entire solar array from the power going to the solar controller by turning off the breaker.

I used this for a 24V setup for 8-100W panels arrange in 2-strings of 4 panels in series/parallel. It worked good and then on the 5th day it just stopped working. The charge controller will not charge my 24V battery bank anymore. I check the system and found out that the PV Combiner Box is only delivering less than 14V to the charge controller in-spite of the correct incoming voltage from the solar array. I bought this as “Used: Very Good” and ended-up as a “Used: No Good” item. It’s $100.93 excluding shipping cost that was wasted for this unit.

This is the second combiner box I have bought the other was a 6 string ecoworthy. The box is nice looking but check the mc4 connectors as they use cheap ones that do not click in properly so you can have loose connections or none at all I noticed the 6 string I have in use had loose connections had to replace one string mc4 connectors and push down while inserting on another to get the connection to stick for a few days I lost half my power it baffled me for a bit till I figured this out. Also having knockouts for conduit would be nice rather than the cable holes.

I am currently running 1- 4 string and 1-6 string. I am very happy with both. I didn’t receive a key with the 6 string unit nor did I ever get a response from the seller/manufacturer regarding the missing key but any 5 year old could pick the lock in 30 seconds and the key to an old pontiac is a perfect fit. Both units have been in operation for about 2 months without any problems. All connections are sound and voltage is stable. Quality of construction and wiring seem as good or better than most other brands. I will be purchasing another 6 string unit for my main house soon as I find the right price/quality batteries for that system. I reccomend this product.

Great for solar cable management to clean up installation. Check all factory connections as a few were loose. I still would recommend this box if you are setting up a system of multiple panels for your project. The connectors allow plug and play, but extending the cables will most likely be required as most panels have short lengths.

So far this box has kept my entire system from working. I am having to use my generator to charge my batteries. All my components are brand new and working, except this one. After reading other reviews I think the connectors are bad on the box, as there is NO power coming through it. I am trying to reach out to the company to see if they will replace box. If that goes well, I will update, but for now I am completely regretting buying this for my system.

Great job one of the screw mounts for negative battery connect to circuit breaker was stripped and wouldnt tighten.i had to replace.sending it back ..um good luck with that action so I repaired it my self.after a complaint to amazon they said I should have payed for extended service warentee at check out…I would now see picture and build my own this one is shatt.you will need to fix it after you get it

This box cleaned up my wiring and added protection to the circuits. The only downfall is the mounting tabs are flimsy and are poorly attached to the box by little screws that will not stay tight.
