Good aluminum brackets. The 6mm bolts, nuts & washers are stainless steel and the self-tapping screws are a plated hardened steel. If subjected to high winds (i.e. a vehicle) I recommend that fender washers (24mm/1″ O.D. or larger) be used on both sides when attaching brackets to solar panels to prevent pull-out as the contact area with the supplied washers is VERY small.

Wow…makes the job so much easier and I like the tabs that provide for some lateral support as well. I used them to mount panels on the equipment bar of my boat. Two on side that is in the middle…one on the outer edge. Rock solid mounting, but they are raised up enough to wear I can easier snap on some canvas too.

I mean sure if you are mounting twenty panels, sure use a rail system, but if it is just a few…these are your ticket.

I used similar brackets to mount panels on my previous camper. I upgraded campers and am installing solar panels on the new camper so bought more brackets. While I haven’t installed the panels yet using these brackets, they look just like the old ones that worked well for several years and are still functioning fine. I like this style with the extra tabs to prevent twisting of the bracket against the frame of the panel. The cheaper z-brackets often don’t have these tabs.

These brackets are so easy to install, they are strong, sturdy and very well built. I actually installed very strong neodym magnets to the brackets and attached my small 100W panels to my steel roof without drilling holes. Four brackets per panel, and the magnets hold each panel securely without worries of them flying off in strong wind.

These brackets are a great value with four sets in the package. In minutes I had the panels set up with the brackets. They are the perfect size for my metal roof, clearing the ridges between each roof panel. I highly recommend these brackets and I give them 5 stars.

These are pretty good for the money. However, there are a couple things I don’t like.
First, they are taller than the R****y panel mounts. As such, panels mounted with these are taller off the mounting surface. For those with OCD or using these for additional panel support for existing setups, you can’t use these AND the other mounts. It’s one brand or the other.
Second, the hardware is too small. Not only do the bolts fit extremely sloppy in the holes, but the washers can pull through. So, plan on also purchasing larger hardware.

Other than that, these are worth the purchase if you need a mounting set or four.

I’ve only had them installed and mounted for a couple of weeks, so I can’t really attest to durability. They seem adequate. They are aluminum and can be easily bent, but I have no doubts they will hold up well enough. I have 350w panels, so they holes did not line up correctly with my panels. I had to drill new holes in my panels. This is not a manufacturer defect, just an FYI for those who intend to use them on panels larger than they are prescribed for.

The brackets are made well and sturdy, however, the hole the bolt goes through to attache it to the panel does not match up. The slot was just too short. I have some Renogy brackets and they matched up on different panels just fine. These do not. Ended up having to drill a different hole to attach them to the panels.

Used these to install solar panels to the roof of my fifth wheel. They have been up there a year. Seem to be secure.
