Build quality is very good! Does not feel/look cheap by any means. My first test was very late afternoon and charged a 12v car battery from 11.8v to 12.6v in a hour and a half. That’s like charging a car battery from 30% to 80% full. This solar panel is totally worth it and still pulls 1.1amp in full cloud cover/shade. Really happy! 🙂

Totally good I placed two in series to make it my ‘portable’ kit for camping. Needed to be poly to match my current panel.

Panel was packaged well in box with foam,,frame is very sturdy,, tempered glass front, was a great addition to my 2 existing 70 watt panels,, lots of amperage now to charge my off grid flooded deep cycle batteries, leads on back were plenty long enough to connect up, well made panel, very satisfied with this HQST 70 watt solar panel,,five star unit,,

The headline says it: well made and works as advertised.

This has been doing a great job keeping my ML-12 Might Max battery at full charge. This combo has been running my security cam for a couple of months now.

Well I had to take a bunch of small panels and combine them together into an array that fits between the roof rack openings at 450 Watts and they fit the openings beautifully as you can see

Right out of the box, I was impressed at the build quality. The output is actually a little bit better than the specifications. I’m using it with the Beaudens 166WH power station and its working great. Gets the pack charged in 4 to 5 hours or so. A real Cracker-Jack product. Love it!
It has ample places to mount in any way you decide. Lots of aluminum to work with. Construction is robust and clean. Back in the day, I had a 50 Watt panel from Kyocera (I think that’s how it’s spelled) that was much larger. Of course back them, we didn’t have the efficiencies we have to day.
Now I am considering a top of pole mount to complete the setup.

I purchased four 50 watt panels and the necessary connectors to build a solar charger for our golf cart. Everything arrived promptly and in excellent condition. The project went smoothly and now our golf cart stays fully charged, most of the time without ever having to plug it in. I expect we will see much better battery life now, since lead acid batteries really benefit from being kept in a fully charged state as much as possible. Even on cloudy days, these panels are providing way more than a trickle charge current … usually at least 1-2 amps at 36 volts, which equates to almost a quarter of their 200 watt full sun capacity. I’m happy!
