I was not in the need for yet another foldable set of panels yet here we are. π My iClever panels arrived in a very timely manner. I did a quick test this afternoon. Hazy skies due to all of the fires out here in the West, but still sufficient sunshine to work with. These panels work great. Comparable output to my Beaudens soft case 100w foldable and Renogy hard case glass 100w foldables.
A few pros: kickstands on all 4 panels so no sagging. Anderson power pole connector. Plethora of adapters including 8mm for you Jackery-a$$es. (I tested on my Jackery 240 so I’m one, too.)
Cons: No MC4 connector. I’ll need to order one but they’re cheap enough. These fold up a little different than my other foldables. Not a big deal, just something I have to be mindful of. The ribbon on the kickstands seems pretty sketch. Another thing to be mindful about.
So for the money I’m extremely happy. These were cheaper than my other panels which is why I bought them. I think Im’ pretty set for now. I can run multiple parallel sets to different power stations. I wish these had been around earlier so I could have saved a lot more money than getting into my Renogy and Beaudens panels.

I really want to give this 5 stars, since it was the cheapest 100W portable panel I could find, and it does work. I’m taking off a star, because it came with absolutely no paperwork, so no instructions or documentation. I also wish it had rubber or plastic on the bottom to protect it more from the ground. The nylon fabric picks up dirt easily, and I’m sure it will rip frome being set on coarse surfaces before rubber/plastic would have failed. Also, the connections that come with it are mostly useless for any North American consumer electronics I’m aware of, but thanks for the gesture I guess. It does come with the connector used to connect to a larger battery bank (like a Jackery), so thats nice, but it doesn’t even have a USB C or mini USB connector in that bunch.
It does charge my phone, battery pack, camera, and lights just using the sun though! It’s lightweight and easy to setup. One trick: don’t try to unfold the whole thing and then pull the feet out. Unfold a section at a time and unfold each foot as you do. All-in-all, I love this solar panel (my first one) and I’m glad I bought it.

Β The main purpose for my purchase of this product was emergency preparedness.
My Likes:
β the briefcase is aesthetically pleasing, durable, and easy to clean
β the handle is of excellent quality
β there are grommets on the top and bottom of the panels which gives me various hanging options
β I am able to charge electronics such as phone, charging bricks, etc. directly via 3 USB ports
β adapters for many power stations and other electronics are included
β while I do not like kickstands in general, these are of good quality
β DC and Anderson cables are provided
β the price point
My dislikes:
β no MC4 cable connection
β the provided cables are too short
β the DC connector is more apt to come loose during use (especially given the short length), where an MC4 connection is solid
β running multiple panels in series or parallel is not readily available
Tests were run on two different days with different sky conditions:
October 24, 2020 at 11AM: Sky condition was somewhat sunny with clouds (peek-a-boo)
β Spec VOC (open circuit voltage) is 21V and voltage achieved during the test was 20.7V
β Spec IMP (amperage) is 5.55A and the amperage achieved during the test was 5.6A
October 30, 2020 at 2:10 (began testing): Sky condition was very cloudy (see photo and watch video)
β VOC range was 18.9 β 19.5 heavy cloud cover at times
β IMP range was 1.75 β 2.32A
My overall impressions of this product are positive and I am happy with the purchase. The price point was a driving influence on my decision to buy it. Having the ability to easily wire multiple solar panels in series or parallel is a need for me. This product is good for a one time purchase, but the lack of the MC4 connection, and therefore ready availability to wire in series or parallel, would be a determining factor in my making additional purchases.

I will not say it is bad, and the price is very good, it is sturdy and well put together, and it certainly works with my three lithium packs. It is easy to set up and comes with a good assortment of adapters. Compact to store…. it just pretty badly under performed compared to my two Jackery Solar Saga 100 panels….which actually kicked up to the full 100W, and my Bouge RV folding 100W panel kicked up to 87, which is pretty good considering this is NJ. The most I could get this panel to, by putting it in the same exact spots as the others within seconds, and making sure not clouds rolled in, was 67W coming in. I alternated the panels by moving them into the same spot and angle and it still performed way less than the others. I was messing around with this for a good 40 minutes, rotating and comparing readings.
I suppose if I had not been spoiled by the other panels, I’d have been satisfied, but this would mean nearly 1/3 longer charging time compared to the Jackery panel. Yes the Jackery costs about $120 more, but the Bouge RV was the same price as the IClever.
