With my orginal controller I could not maintain above 25 volts dc . Install MPPT controller voltages maintaining around 27.5 dc volts and not had any problems.

Simple connections. Really easy. Did not get for solar, just wind. During high winds receiving approximately 12-24 watts at 1-2 amps with a ecoworrhy 400 watt windmill. Will buy another windmill and test that. After connecting received guidance from lithium ion battery producer (BBB) and all is good with settings and wiring. Really like the design,,,,,, not output

So far I am very pleased with this controller. I have 400 watts of solar, and 600 watts of wind connected. This controller seems to handle them very efficiently, my Battle Born maintains 75-99% charge regardless of usage on the houseboat. I can not attest to it’s longevity yet, but so far, I am very pleased.

This Hybrid Wind-Solar MPPT/58A is easy to use; it’s and upgrade to the original wind controller that came with the 0.5 KW wind generator. I like the digital display showing DC V, Amps and Watts of Wind/Solar. The 800 watt dump load is superior and it comes with wires. I’m glad i got two hybrid MPPT from Amazon and two 0.5 KW wind generator again from Amazon at a great price. highly recommend both.
