I bought the wrong controller, but after contacting customer support they sent me the controller that I needed. The controller works well, would like better instructions and display, but I got it figured out and works great for my system. Customer support was fantastic, and you can’t say this with most companies. The rapid response time and eagerness to solve my issue was impressive and that alone will make me a return customer.

The solar charger doesn’t work. The lines coming off of the panels read on the multimeter but the charge controller does pick them up when connected.

Original unit I received was an older unit that only worked with 24 volt systems, I email them and it was replaced with a unit with the newer software.
This unit is working great. Support was also great, would definitely buy from them again.

The controller works fine, the instructions are in kinda broken english but make enough sense. After a year the dump load resistor failed but it’s not needed for operation and the company did a partial refund and has very fast and friendly customer service.

I was skeptic as I had never heard of PIKASOLA prior to this. It does work on LiFePO4 batteries. I’d say the efficiency is between 85-90%. That is not bad for the price. I will be purchasing another when I convert another system from Lead Acid to Lithium.

The fact that most if not all of these Cheap Chinese controllers are not regulated and or not tested for FCC filtering is ridiculous. This controller although works well, there is no ground to assist with RFI reduction nor any filters of any kind. After installing a caps and torrides on the board and output I was able to reduce some the charge noise on the HF bands but not nearly enough for high gain antennas a modern SDR radio. Once I purchased a proper filtered and Expensive Controller I literately see “0” interference during near max load and charge during peak day light. 800Watt solar array and 2 x Lifepo4 178ah batts. Amateur radio nightmare!

Got this for a friend that is getting off the grid. He let me know that this unit takes solar and wind power any pushes it to his battery fast and with ease. The unit gets warm, but not hot. He said for the $ you get a ton of features that he was still exploring. So yeah its a win!
