Pikasola Wind Turbine Generator 400W 24V with 3 Blade 2.5m/s Low Wind Speed Starting Wind Turbines with Charge Controller, Windmill for Home
$269.99
- ★ Feature: Starting with low speed; high wind energy utilization; low vibration on operation, high efficiency.
- ★ Wind Blade: 23.4inch in length, made of nylon carbon fiber. The longer the blades are, the more kinetic energy they generate and the more power they produce. Nylon material waterproof, corrosion resistant, lightweight.
- ★ Generator: three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor. Efficient and compact ac generator with high performance NdFeB permanent magnet. A fully integrated voltage regulator that automatically shuts down when energy is fully charged. The wind generator is controlled by MPPT intelligent microprocessor, which can effectively adjust current and voltage
- ★Rotating Body: with yaw adjustment system, the wind direction position is automatically read and the rotor position is adjusted to capture the maximum wind energy. The tail fin is designed according to the aerodynamic principle.
- ★Real Parameter, Not False: Our product parameters are Real & Actual, not False. Base on designed after repeated experimental testing. Wind turbine parameters can be customized, please contact us if you have requirement.

PIKASOLA TURBINE IS WELL BUILT WITH QUALITY COMPONENTS. I HAVE INSTALLED TWO OF THEM TO REPLACE A SIMILAR TURBINE WHICH IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE
Just My Opinion –
This is a great windmill to help you add some electricity to your home. If you live in an area that gets consistent wind of 15mph or higher, this will work well for you.
This comes with the nacelle, 3 24″ blades, the nosecone, synchronous motor w/ microprocessor and adjustable body attachment, a handheld adjustable anemometer to measure wind speed and clear instructions.
You will need to purchase a 2″ galvanized pole, base mount and other hardware to secure this. Depending on your usage and city regulations on these, you may be able to mount this to your roof/fence, etc.
You have to have some wiring knowledge to get this assembled. The basic framework of this unit is all together and well built.
The blades are nylon carbon fiber and are strong and unbendable. The hardware that come with this, to attach the blades, is excellent quality. If you want to use Loktite on the nuts, you can do that, but we found no movement once the blades were seated.
Although the packing list shows that there should be 4 longer screws/nuts: these are already mounted into the cuff that goes on the pole that will use the rubber gasket to keep it from moving.
This has a rotating upper body with a heavy counterbalanced fin that will enable the head to move it to maximize the wind.
Fast shipping, excellent customer service, well packaged and high quality parts make this a win.

I’ve been looking into a more green source of energy and since I live in a somewhat windy area I thought a wind turbine would be a good option. This one has 23.4inch in blades and wasn’t to difficult to assemble. I love that the wind energy doesn’t cause any pollutants and it’s a sustainable energy source. It’s also a clean fuel source and Wind power is cost-effective.
The con to a wind turbine could be Wind fluctuations and there may not always be enough wind to power the turbine. Wind The Rated power is 400 W and the Maximum power is :410 W. The Number of blades is 3 and Rated voltage is:24 V
Start-up wind speed:2.5 m/s
Rated wind speed :13 m/s
Working speed:3-25 m/s
Survival wind speed:40 m/s
Wind wheel diameter: 51.18 inch
Comes with:
Wind Turbine x 1
Blades x 3
Controller x 1
Nose Cone x 1
Set Screws and Nuts x 1
Installation Notes x 1
Anemometer x 1(no battery)
Overall, I’m finding this wind turbine to be a worthwhile investment . Great for camping and off the grid living or to just supplement my everyday lifestyle. Price will pay for itself over time!

I bought the 24 V turbine with the intent to integrate it with the existing solar system. The turbine does work and does produce electricity; under moderate winds that are not considered to be extreme in our area (<10 miles/hour), it produces ~20- 50 Wt of electricity, in agreement with the graph Pikasola has provided. This amount is small, but it is over 24 hours and a nice complimentary addition to the solar system, as when the wind blows, we do have a low solar power production in our area. The controller block is somewhat finicky as it is supposed to figure out itself if it needs to produce 12 or 24 Volts, depending on the turbine it is connected to. The first block we have gotten was locking into 12 Volts and we had to replace it with another block, that produced 24V. I have to acknowledge excellent customer support given to me in this process. I will continue experimenting with this turbine and will see if I can fully integrate it with my solar system. Again, the customer support is highly engaged, which really makes Pikasola to stand out among competition.
Amazon Customer –
Used this to supplement solar power on cloudy day.
While haven’t got 400 watts output yet the unit keeps my batteries charged.
Wind so far up to 20mph. Unit starts charging at 10mph.
Customer service was very responsive. I had an issue with 2 blades. After a quick email response they are shipping me replacements at no charge.

This is my first windmill and I just love it. I do have solar panels but they just lay there and don’t move, although they are putting out power with a windmill, you can actually see something going on.
I was very impressed with both the construction and finish of the Pikasola Wind Turbine Generator. The complete package of 400W generator head, MPPT controller, and load device, was an extraordinary value.
My order was placed at the height of the Covid problem, and there was no delay in the shipping, and I never felt any anxiety. This was a difficult time for everyone, but this was a simple order for a useful project.
It does seem to be very well constructed and I’m looking forward to many years of enjoyable use. I was especially impressed with the heavy-duty bearings that support the propeller shaft, and the head itself. This unit will serve me for many years.
The wind generator was well packed, in a reinforced carton, and arrived in perfect condition.
The documentation illustrated precisely how the unit will need to be installed, down to the diameter of the supporting pipe, and its wall thickness.
The nice thing about the Pikasola Wind Turbine Generator is the sun doesn’t have to be out to create usable power and is a great addition to solar power.
I will follow up with an additional, operational, review when the unit is wired and installed on my farm.
It was easy to put together. Built good nice and sturdy. Good instructions with it. I have it up and running but I’m waiting for the wind. It was easy to set up.
I write reviews as a hobby and try to provide the best assessment I can of any item I buy from Amazon. If you like my review, found it helpful, or just want to offer some encouragement feel free to like my write-up and follow my profile. Thank you. Be well
