I haven’t been able to take outside for a full test but initial review shows this was a good buy. In my indoor test it charged my device albeit a bit slowly, but this was indoors, through double-pane window, low winter sun, etc. I expect much better performance outdoors with better sun. Really appreciated all the plug options included by default. Only weakness I found was the legs were unstable, even indoors on a flat surface, no wind, etc. Outdoors I suspect they won’t hold up well. We’ll see.
    Overall, a good buy.

I bought this particular unit because it has an aviation plug to charge my Aimtom 300 watt solar power station. Most units don’t have this particular plug. I also like the form factor. For a 100 watt unit, it is larger than the 60 watt units but it is smaller than several of the other 100 watt units. I did have an issue with the red LED being hard to see but I talked with customer service and they were quick to respond. They resolved the issue by offering me a slight discount on the unit. I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and it is winter time now. It recharged my phone rapidly on a bright sunny day using the USB port and the voltage output at the DC port was 26.2 volts. Overall I am happy with this unit.

I do a lot of off grid camping and tired of my power station going dead and not being able to have power for the rest of my trip. I’m pretty impressed on how much actual power this thing generates. I was using my 500 watt power station and it was charging at about an average of 44 watts but when the sun was really intense it was going up to 65 watts. I was afraid that this solar panel wasn’t going to hook up to my other power station because the inputs are different but it comes with a bunch of adapters for many different applications. Even USB for charging your phone or pretty much any device.

What a fantastic solar panel this is. This panel actually folds down smaller than my portable 50W panel, and of course it provides double the power. To give you an idea, when folded and clipped, the panel is about the size of a laptop-carrying bag. And of course when unfolded, it opens up to 4x that size.

Of the four sections, two of them have legs that can be used to prop up the panels to get better light angles. Obviously, the panel comes with its own cables and about a dozen different tips. The tips fit my power stations just fine, but I was surprised that one of them even fits my Lenovo laptop and charges it like nobody’s business. The built-in charge controller has the barrel-connector port for all the included tips, but it also has a regular USB, and a USB-C port, so that makes it very convenient for charging or powering just about any portable device.

I took some photos of the charging current coming from the panel on a semi-sunny day last week, and you can see that I got as high as 82 Watts with some clouds in the sky. Early in the day when the sun was lower, the panel was providing me about 55 watts, but as the sun rose, it almost got to 100 (I actually saw it as high as 89). Like all solar panels, their rating is based on maximum sun exposure, so you rarely get their full rating for very long, but sometimes you’d be surprised how much improvement you can get by just tweaking the angle a little bit.

In my case, I also plan on tying it into my travel-trailer’s solar-charging circuit when necessary. The panel proved to me that it will generate enough power to supplement my roof-mounted panel and not drain the system.

As I mentioned, the panel folds up to a pretty small size, and it includes an outside pocket for all of the attachments, and that’s also where the charge-controller/outlets are located. That pocket is lined with rubber/silicone so I imagine it’s pretty well protected from the elements so you could even store small electronics in there. I wouldn’t have paid much less for another plain old solar panel to mount on the roof of my trailer, so the fact that this one has comparable performance and it’s extremely portable makes it that much more valuable to me.

I bought this panel to charge the 634 Wh, 300W solar generator that I use as a house battery in my camper. The solar charging port on my generator is not standard, so I was looking for a 100W panel that came with the right adapter, and the POWOXI fit the bill.

I’ve had this panel for several weeks now, and it works great. It’s still winter, so we aren’t getting super long days, but the panel still tops up my genny nicely. I have also charged up my smaller battery banks and lanterns with the USB connection, and it charged them very quickly.

I am using 2 $6 Walmart camp chairs (I removed the arms) as a stand, to keep the panel off the currently muddy ground. They not only keep the panel clean, but also make it easy to change the angle and position to get the most direct sun. While I haven’t, and don’t plan to, leave the panel out in the rain, it gets very damp and foggy here at night, and that has not been an issue.

Lastly, this panel comes with a nice carry bag that has a smaller bag for the cables and connectors. This keeps everything together when you are on the go and makes setup super fast, since you aren’t searching for the cables or connectors.

I would definitely recommend this panel if you are looking for a single, portable 100W panel. I’m considering getting another genny, so I can have one charging while I use the other. Thanks to the numerous adaptors, I’m confident that this panel will work with whatever genny I choose.

Wonderful solar panel and exactly what we were hoping for! This thing is super well made, sturdy and has some weight to it. I was pleasantly surprised that it unfolds into a rather large panel, especially since it’s so compact when it’s folded. We’ve had it for some time now, and husband has been playing with it this whole time. This thing can literally charge anything and does a fantastic job at it. We have not experienced any issues with it and hubby says that it’s definitely one of the better ones out there. Great product for a very reasonable price!
