First thing I noticed is the charge controller is glued on the back of the panel. The pics were misleading to me as I thought this comes with a separate controller. This makes it impossible to see the status LEDs in most applications where you rest on, or attach the panel to, some surface.
Measured the output in direct sunlight. Trying to charge a drained battery at around 10V, it is putting out about 700mA. Will see how it works in the longer run but for now, it is working at least. So my impressions so far with this are … so so.

Poorly designed because the cable that goes into the controller is permanant. the cable was not connected to the controller and cannot be switched or replaced.

Use for pontoon boat with undiagnosed charging and/or battery drain issue (something’s staying on or drawing from battery when everything’s “off”) and this thing keeps my battery about ready to jump out of the boat. Topped off the chart. Pleased thus far. Only concern is solar panel appears so high-end I’m afraid it invites theft – which is obviously not a ding on this fine (thus far) product. Recommended.

I didn’t read the description carefully enough when shopping for a trickle charger for my daughter’s car; I wanted one of the ones that sits on the dash all the time, but this is a much larger item that magnetizes to the body and has to be taken on and off if you want to use the vehicle. It seems excellent, and we are going to use it for other things around the property on our hobby farm.

I bought this solar panel to maintain charge on a leisure battery, which it does nicely! The solar panel has a controller at the back of it with an easy read display. Red to indicate that it senses sunlight, blue when charging and green when fully charged. It senses sunlight even when overcast although it won’t be the same output as when in direct sunlight

This seems EXTREMELY Well made. The magnets are going to hold that down no doubt in my mind. We are just using it to float a pair of 12v batteries and it woks well.

I installed these solar panels for my cat house. They produced some electricity even if there is no sun but with only 1/10 of their capacity. This is good because during the winter months, there is no sun. My cat needs some heat source to stay warm. Thank to good design of the panels. They can be installed instantly on any surface with very strong magnets. They used no electricity for charging regulator.

Used this for my T5. Not used the van over winter and the battery kept going totally flat. So flat that I couldn’t use key fob to unlock it! This worked brilliantly and kept the battery ticking over. Will use on leisure battery when we go camping.
