    Minnesota Mike –

I got a bid for nearly $2500 to run power to my travel trailer parking spot for the sole use of running a small battery charger to keep the deep cycle battery charged. Instead, I bought this 100W solar kit and installed it myself! The kit comes with everything you need, solar panel, cables, charge controller and mounting hardware. I made a simple wood frame and mounted the solar panel to that, as I didn’t want to drill into my roof. From there, use the supplied cord to plug into the charge controller and then connect to the battery. The charge controller will charge the battery and once fully charged, it will move to a trickle mode to keep it topped off. As shown in the photos, standard low voltage plugs are used so you can remove or add parts to the system if you choose to enlarge your system size down the road, or take it down for off season storage. This has been working great for me! I hope you found this helpful

I have another solar panel that I use to charge my portable generators. I am not sure what it is… maybe the long shape or something but this has slightly better output than my other solar panel. I use this primarily to charge portable batteries that I have. I bought an adapter separately for this so that I can plug this directly into my portable battery. This is a super easy and effective way to charge my batteries. This comes with the hardware you need to install on a roof. I have not used the hardware because for now I am using this in more of a portable way. Happy with the results.

We purchased this kit to provide power to light up our barn. The panel is mounted on the south side of the barn and was light and easy to mount. I now have lights to safely work in my barn after dark.

Panel was dead on arrival, zero output. Very poor soldering job on the main connections as well. Currently going through a return with Amazon and will try another brand panel.

Straight forward installation. Thank you for the instructions. It does not really need more than one person to install especially on a roof. I am using this 500 watt/hr which is enough for my front garage light and couple lamps. They all run 12v which is convenient enough. I would give it a couple more month before buying again just to see it holds up against the elements.

Upgraded my old panel with this 100 watt panel for my off roading camping truck. I mounted it differently than the instructions and without the supplied brackets but I am sure those would work well also. I also added ring terminals which were not supplied to attach to my main battery.
So far so good. I will be upgraded my second battery solar panel with another one of these in the future.

Great solar panel, very crappy controller. Replaced controller with a better one.
