Very easy to tie onto my fence so I can detect people approaching the house before they get into the yard. It does seem to go off when there are things that I cannot see. I’m not sure if it was raining that set it off or what because there were no animals visible so I did get a couple of what I would term false alarms but I’m sure it sensed something and it was lightly raining, maybe a drop running across the sensor? Otherwise I like it it has a decent range I’ve only been using it 2 weeks but so far so good. I like that you can change the ringtone just something that might not wake you up at night for the stray cats that are going by.

The motion detector was very easy to install. It can be very sensitive but once you place it in the correct position it works great. I use it to listen for my elderly mother when she gets out of bed at night to go to the restroom. I highly recommend.

This works well so far. A few things to note. It
Comes in a plain brown box with no outside advertising. 2. In order to change the modes (as shown in my second photo) you need to remove both screws from the back of the sensor. Changing the ringtone is not explained well in the instructions. I had to press the selection button down and hold it so that my choice remained. We went through the annoyingly loud ding-dong For so long I think it’s remaining as a ghost sound. Only thing worse would have had it stuck on the polka music selection each time. The sensor is very sensitive! That’s a good thing unless you’re trying to select your tone. Overall I was pleased with the product. Somewhere in China is a person who thought it would be funny to give you a micro flathead screwdriver when you need a Phillips for the actual micro sized screws. If you angle it just right you can use the provided screwdriver. Also handy for fixing eye glasses!

Great sensor. Works extremely well in all weather conditions. Alerts when anyone is approaching. Even picks up on cars passing by. Would recommend.

We used this to know to detect my brother-in-law trying to get out of bed when he was prone to falling. It sounds like a doorbell but is easily heard. Now that he is better I see other uses for it. Good price and easy to use.

Bought this to notify me when my dog is ready to come back in. She’s really sweet and has a sweet little soft bark and whine, sometimes its hard to hear her…we always set a timer so shes not out in the cold for more than a few minutes, but we live inFrigid temperatures so I wanted something extra as a Courtesy for her.
I wrapped mine in a ziploc bag and stretched it thin, secured it with a rubber band knot over the product to keep out any flyaway snow that sneaks under the eaves. It senses motion just as well through the clear plastic.
I wanted a small motion detect area, mainly just over the door when she approaches it. Takes some trial and error on positioning it but we’ve almost got it perfect. I like the added bonus of security it provides too. ( I might get another one down the line, we get skunks in the backyard…im wondering if it would detect them? Keep her from setting one off, i’ll know to get her inside if an animal is detected)
Setup was super easy.
Personal opinion I don’t like how the chime repeats itself obnoxiously the entire time motion is detected, its non stop if something is standing in range…it should just go every 5 seconds or something. There should be a frequency setting…homes may want less frequency than shops for example. Found the chimes list so I could find the least obnoxious tone to hear over and over. I’ve included it for others to see, would of been helpful posted right on this page when I was shopping.

This dies exactly what it says…. detects motion and sounds an audible alarm. Frequency, volume and alert are adjustable. If you aim it toward traffic it can be annoying with false alerts but other than that it is a good product.
