Lorex has been an amazing company to work with.
Excellent Customer Service always willing to help.
We need to order this extra cable and had no complaints.
We highly recommend Lorex to everyone needed security cameras.

I received this cord during the winter season it looks high quality I am waiting for warm weather to install my system so I hope this equipment is what they say it is.I hooked everything up inside to my TV all looks and works well so far.

I ordered some 100 feet Cat5E cables to use in my attic for connecting security cameras to the NVR. They were exactly what I needed and seemed to be high quality cables. I ordered 8 cameras with an NVR. The 8 camera system came with 60 feet cables, but most of my cameras needed 100 feet. I would suggest allowing the option to choose the cable length on security system sets so you don’t end up with several cables that are not long enough.

Purchased three 100′ lengths of Cat5e for the longer runs on my HDIP833 eight channel NVR HD home security system. Cables are of high quality, well packaged and shipped quickly. It would be helpful if LOREX would allow buyer to specify how many of each length were required for their installation while still offering bundled pricing. Same goes for specifying the size and quantity of HDDs. Ended up with extra 60′ lengths that I could not use.

Beware!! The cat5e cable being sold by Lorex is NOT rated for outdoor installation!
If you have outdoor cameras and need to run some cable exposed to the outside…don’t use this cable.
I’m actually upset at Lorex that it couldn’t include appropriately rated cable when its bundled with outdoor cameras.
Actually, I called customer service at Lorex and a lady (Ms. Josephine) reassured me that the cable is rated for outdoors…WRONG!
Got an excellent deal through Costco…system of four(4) outdoor cameras for $499.99. Now I will have to sort out the issue of cabling.
Gave it a one star rating, only because of the cabling issue. I will update when its all resolved.

I needed six hundred foot cables, out of sixteen camera system that came with only sixty foot cables. So I bought two four packs of a hundred foot cables .
Now I have six sixty foot and two hundred foot cables setting in a box.
It would be nice if you could choose the length, when you buy the bundle.
I think it’s Awesome other then that.

OK this cable is really hard to work with. No matter how hard I tried not to, it kinks and twists so easy. Maybe all these type of cables are hard to work with ????
BobH –
Great cable, have to unwrap it carefully as it tangles easily but otherwise, great stuff.

I wrote the three star review. I was concerned about the outer jacket of the cables twisting and kinking. Well,, when all was said and done , all went well and so far the system works great ! Now if you download and print the manual, have a full tray of paper in your printer ! Takes almost half a ream of paper ! I actually used a three hole paper punch and put it in a three ring binder. Only way to go.

I was going to mount one of my cameras on my shop. That’s why I ordered the 300′ cat5 cable. Some of the cable will be exposed and I didn’t realize it wasn’t rated for outdoors so I will have to go a different route. Other than that the LNR416S 2k camera system is not as good as expected either. If you zoom any it loses focus and gets worse as you go. A little disappointing. Night vision is horrible also. After reading all the comments calling customer service is a waste of time. I will just deal with it. Better than nothing. Need to update app also.

I have to run cables through my attic and garage ceiling to other side of house in order to install 4 more cameras. Since the 60 foot cables the cameras come with won’t be long enough, I checked the Lorex website to see what they offered. I was happy to find they sold a 4 pack of 100 foot cables at an affordable price which works out perfectly because all I had to purchase was the 4 pack instead of having to purchase 4 separate cables. Once I receive the additional cameras I will be able to run the cables and install the cameras.

I think anything that Lorex makes is a good product, gets the job done and the quality level is is well above the standard. Crimps are good, connections are good no problems with the wire. Would definitely buy more if I needed.

The cable arrived on time and was exactly what I needed. Works great, Thanks!

Once I receive my camera system and begin to setup them I realized that the 60 foot cables where not long enough to run from my garage and down through the basement to the other side of rhe house I realize that the cables were long enough and I contact lorex aand they were able to send out a set of four very quickly.
Great Product –
Good Product

Cables are placed in small spools that damage the ends and make it impossible to have neat wiring leaving the back of your nvr.
Low profile person –
Cable appears to well constructed. Initially concerned about connection to camera being weather resistant. Time will tell
Multi System Installer –
You only have the choice of 100ft, or 60ft cables. Neither come with the weatherproof connectors that the original cables have. Lorex should offer more cable options for custom builds.

Great if you need tgem, i had expected I needed these but the camera kit had long enough cables that i didnt need them. Lorex took them back and credited me for them. Post office had boxes that were one price shipping, they fit in, shipping was under 10.00 $.

MizzSuezStacca –
AMAZING CLEARITY! I definitely can tell the difference from the cords I had to these I am using now! THANK YOU!!!!

As for now the system seems to be nice
The cables in the system package was cheep
The cables are hard to unwrap, and damage could happen on the RJ45 fittings,
I would recommend Power Over Ethernet cable.
I had to reorder two cables and they was a 100 % manufactured better
Your tutorials are hard to find information on your systems; like zoom, operations of the hard drive, you should have a tutorial from setup to full operations step by step.
You could have but I have not found it.
It would be nice to have your hard drive to be WiFi compatible.
As for now I would recommend Lorex.
