I purchased this portable solar panel together with their solar generator. They work well together. I am in Las Vegas so we have very strong sun exposure and the 50W panel would charge the Solar Generator is 5-6 hours only (220Wh). The only thing to consider is, that it is so light weight, that it needs mounting to secure it from blowing away from wind, but that of course is expected. I did not see any discoloration of the fabric even having the panel outdoors and closed for a while. This is unusual in Las Vegas as our sun can seriously bleach most fabrics, thus, the outside fabrics used are also of good quality. I am happy with my purchase and it does the job as advertised.

Honestly, this does fine, it will charge the battery it’s meant to go with without too much trouble. My only issues are with the case that surrounds the solar cell. The zippers and stitching seem of a lower quality than expected for the price tag and the pouches on the sides aren’t great either. Otherwise it works generally as advertised.

The 50 W solar panel works great for charging the 200 W flash fish generator. I took this camping and use it to pump up raft beds and also power a projector at night so we could watch movies. The solar panel charged the generator in about five hours and we also used it to charge cell phones and tablets it works so well I’m amazed. No more starting my car over and over to charge my devices.

I have seen so many reviews about removing the thin layer on the panels. I am NOT saying it! Best I found was a tad bit of film, that didn’t affect the panel in itself, was part of the packaging. That said, even if there is a slight film that I am missing, why would you take it off? Seems to me, that would be a protective layer that has no effect on the actual panel for collecting solar rays. Would be weird if it was polarized, or something like that, but, I know this works as stated. even with the supposed film on. Maybe they stopped putting on the film that caused issues, or maybe I haven’t used it enough to notice, but, all works just fine, right out of the box.

I love how portable this is. Its great along with the power source I bought. Only complaint is its so small they put it in a very oversized box with no padding and it bounced around in the box bad. Nothing broken. Thank god.. the other box it was in could have been used to ship it..It could have been delivered to Amazon box. But because of the large box I had to ship it to my sister’s. But over all im very happy with it..

Added review. Finally using my solar panel and flash fish portable power source. Man are they awesome. Perfect for what I bought them for. They keep my phones charged my lights and my fan and even runs my air pump… Perfect for all the small devices I use and best thing it saves me money from buying batteries.. solar is the way to go and everything i buy is made to use the sun..

We go camping a lot and needed some way to plug in the CPAP machine should the power go out. Or be in a camping position where there is no power. The solar panel it works great portable easy to use.

Since things have been getting so strange with this pandemic going on, I have been stocking up on survival gear, and this little solar panel briefcase was a great addition to my collection. It is very light weight and easy to use. Just unzip it and point it at the sun. It has built in USB ports for charging your phone, and it has a 18 volt output cord to charge power packs or whatever else you may need to charge. I like that it is all contained in a zip up bag that has a handle and that is padded. It is very durable and can withstand a little bit of rough handling. So far I am very pleased with the versatility and operation of these solar panels.
