This thing feels like an oz to me – it’s got a great compactness that “adds” to the perceived weight. Which makes it fun to handle. That and that it just looks cool, making the premium acceptable.
It comes polished and relatively reflective (not mirror). I can’t wait for it to tarnish – in this case I’m sure it’ll add to the effect. Were it less expensive, I would own many.

The coin was a great buy, a little to heavy and thick, I was going to put it on a clear bezel to put on a chain, but it will not fit standard bezels.

Wanted something that resembled pirates, love this piece but it would be more attractive if it was thinner and longer, but other than that it’s a cool piece, may buy some of the bigger ones.

I got these for my wife because she teaches about pirates and now she can show the kids “pirate treasures”. The people she works with also think they are cool. Buying more if every size every payday to build up a supply to keep in a real treasure chest.
