This is supposed to be a driveway/motion detector. I read the instructions and it says don’t get wet. How can you monitor your driveway if this item cannot get wet? I don’t know of any driveways that are covered.
Useless and will need to be returned.

The con to these are if it’s windy they will be going off. Not a good dependable product that you can count on to let you know when someone is on your property unless you never have any type of wind.

The only thing I do not like is that the sensor is super sensitive. It would detect any movement in the front of the house, including golf carts, people walking and automobiles. Putting black electrical tape on that side of the sensor eliminated most of those annoyances. However, there are times when I think birds are setting off the alarms. Haven’t figured out how to eliminate that. If something enters the area, but does not go all the way through, it chimes only once. If something enters beyond the sensor, it chimes a second time…then I know it is time to check it out. Those alarms, along with the neighbor’s new motion detector lights that come on when a person is detected in the area, make us feel more secure about our area.

Would have a 5 star, but the description made it sound like you could link all 4 sensors with both receivers, as far as I can find, you can’t. They are 2 separate sets, 2 sensors & 1 receiver each, not linkable to the other set

Works great. Bought a few sets with different quantity to put around my property. I have had people jump the fense and rob the neighbors shed a few times and try to break into the neighbors house. There are three houses total behind the gated property. One house is empty. I put sensors at every entry point and around the vehicles. So I know exactly what area of the property an intruder is at so I know which security camera to look at quickly or go chase the intruder away with my tools of trade. Each set of alarms is set to a different sound to easily identify location of intruder. You do have to switch them off during day if you have high traffic on your property as it gets annoying

This is an awesome unit! I set one at the front door and one at the back door only a foot off the ground and I am notified when my cat and dog come back up onto the porch to come inside! So I can check when a person or an animal is coming up to my door! Love it! The only thing I would like to see would be more options of a brief chime. I don’t need songs.

This is obviously an indoor product. If you try to use it outside for your driveway, you have no business installing it in the first place. It is really good inside, though. We use it to alert us if someone gets up at night and starts wandering. I will say that 90% of the chime tunes are absolutely horrible. They are out of tune to the point of being absurd and hilariously bad. Just the ding dong is really usable. The plastic is thin, they are not meant for any sort of abuse at all.

I received the 2 receiver + 4 sensor package today and set it up. Took less than 5 minutes. This product is actually two packages, each containing one receiver and two sensors. Each receiver can be set to have different chimes so that you know which pair of sensors is activating it. I set up two sensors in the front of the house and two in the back so I know from the chimes whether an alarm is from the front or the back. The chimes are very loud so I can hear them from anywhere in the house. Also, even if the receivers are turned off, the sensor lights up (under the blue line at the top) whenever it senses motion. Very Nice! This way, you can tell whether the sensors (and batteries) are working without even having to turn on the receivers – especially useful when first setting them up and determining where to place them. Hope they last several years. It gives me great peace of mind at night.
