Nice security cameras clear quality videos however I find it lacking in some areas such as no picture retrieving option and the two-way communication needs work,the person in front of the camera can be heard very clear opposed to the person behind the camera can be barely heard . And that’s when the volume is at full
Other than that it’s a very nice system

We purchased the Blink security camera with 3 cameras 2 months later we purchased 2 more cameras. Its a great purchase, worth the cost and would recommend!!!

The recording is hit and miss. Mostly 80% miss. I have 14 steps stairway and 2 out of 10 record that a person is on the stairs almost on the last step and the other 8 will be just 1 or 2 sec recording of the back of the person leaving which is 10 feet away from the stair. I already adjusted the camera to max sensitivity settings and many position so I have no more excuses. Also the 10 sec retrigger time is a lot of time lost to record the video you really need to be recorded. How much more if I max it to 60sec? It should retrigger without delay when it sense movement!
That is just the camera on my stairway. You don’t want to heat about my camera on my patio…

Unfortunately, the new version is not better, it just allows you to pay Amazon a monthly fee. If you have a system set up you get space for your videos on their server for free… if not you will need to pay once these are gone. These cameras can be plugged in. Not sure of the newer version. Hopefully they do as well. Depending how you have it set the batteries will last proportionately. Good system for the money… good video fairly sensitive.
