5.2 RS485 communication port
This port is an RS485 communication port which comes with two functions:
① It allows direct communication with the optional host computer (stored on the CDROM)
developed by our company through this port, and enables monitoring of the
equipment running status and setting of some parameters on the computer;
② It also allows direct connection with the optional RS485 to Bluetooth communication
module developed by our company through this port. After the module is selected, you
can connect the all-in-one solar charge inverter through the mobile phone Bluetooth APP,
on which you can view the operating parameters and status of the device.
③ As shown in the figure: Pin 1 is 5V power supply, Pin 2 is GND, Pin 7 is RS485-A, and Pin
8 is RS485-B.
5.3 CAN communication port (optional)
CAN communication is an optional function, which is not available in the standard machine.
As shown in the figure: Pin 1 is CAN-L and Pin 2 is CAN-H.
5.4 USB communication port
This is a USB communication port, which can be used for USB communication with the

This unit is a beast! I have run my whole house (within reason, we don’t push it). We have run the following directly off of the inverter, refrigerator with tablet built into door (sensitive electronics), wine fridge (gas compressor on a battery backup), all lighting, television and all internet, complete office and electric heaters. We have had neighbors ask “how do you have power?”, we have the system backed up with 2 Optima Red Tops, 6 solar cell array, 48 volt, 1200 watt that keeps the batteries topped. I also have a generator, but hope to only need it in extended dark days. I had a unit fail, never really found out why, but the company helped me diagnose the unit for myself, I sent a few pics, they did too, their support was just fine, very to the point, good things to check (fuses, etc), then when we determined this one failed, they PROMPTLY sent me a new one! I also purchased a second one (they are cost effective and perfect for me) as a spare, this way I have zero downtime if one fails. Excellent service, strong product, excellent support!

Ok so after being contacted by customer support we were able to fix the problem. 2 weeks later the machine is working fine

One of the reasons I originally purchased this product (48V All-In-One), after reading through their manual, is that it stated you could use software to monitor the inverter through the USB port or RS485. No software, no cables, not even options on their website. No reply to my email inquiry about solar monitoring options.
Nevermind that what I ordered was an inverter that looked completely different from the one I got, and two days after my inverter arrived they changed the corresponding image to match what I ended up with. The manual was different from the one I downloaded from the Eco-Worthy website too.
I went ahead and installed it anyway (incredibly easy to install) figuring I’d eventually figure out how to monitor it, or support would eventually get back to me. I went through the settings thoroughly, making sure to set it up correctly for my AGM battery banks. That night the alarm woke me up and shut my entire tiny house down. It had completely drained my batteries even though I had set it up to move to utility power when it dropped to 49V. I thought maybe I’d forgotten to switch on the breaker between the inverter and my utility power, but nope, it was on. Maybe I’d missed a setting? Nope again; everything was set correctly.
I decided to uninstall this inverter, send it back, and go with a brand I’m familiar with and is more reliable. This is what I get for trying trying to save a hundred bucks.

I purchased this on June 23rd but did not even plug it in because I had to wait for my batteries to arrive that have been back ordered. My batteries were delivered today to I came home and took my Eco Worthy inverter. When I attached the supplied power cord it is so lose it falls out. It only stays engaged half way. But there is too much play up and down. Left to right. I’m scared to leave it this way while I have my refrigerator connected to it. This normally happens after extended usage of pulling or yanking out the cord. Since I haven’t used the product and it looks new it most likely is the power cord / and or the ac input connector on the inverter. Well it is past the date that I can request a replacement so I guess I am stuck with the safety issue. Maybe the vendor can send me out a replacement cord and replacement ac input connector. It’s only installed with two screws. I will wait and see if I get a reply.
