[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Z-Wave Plus smart motion sensor was so easy to set up, I mounted it on my front porch so if anyone comes onto my property at night the sensor automatically turns on my living room light that I have connected to a Z-Wave smart dimmer. It also sends a notice to the Z-Wave app I downloaded to my phone. The sensor runs on batteries but if you take the back off and there is a USB port where it can also be plugged into an outlet. I love that it is portable and I can take it with me if need be. It really is a great device to have.

This device isn’t too sensitive as some tend to be, meaning that just a leaf blowing past it won’t set it off. You can control its sensitivity level as well. It’s a great and easy to set up little piece of technology!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this product from a page to try it out. I was veryexcited when getting this product because i work in home health. I work with the elderly. Most all of my patients have Alzheimer’s. The majority of them get up through the night and wonder around. I placed this into one of my patients rooms on their dresser. To my surprise this product worked great. When movement was detected it alerted me right away. there for leaving myself and my patient safe.The best part is it went straight to my phone. I would like to ad that this product is dummy approved. As in someone like myself who can be a dummy to new electronics was able to use it. Make sure you follow directions and it is a breeze.

After receiving the product I discovered it can’t be used with out a base unit or security system already installed. The unit is small, easy to install with the included mounting bracket, comes with batteries, and has the option to run off micro USB cable. If you have the base it is well worth it but not just for it alone.

This portable sensor I can put anywhere table, counter, stair case and even mount to a wall. It has came in handy as my son who has austism wonders in the night so I keep it close to his room and get the alert of his movement straight to my phone. Absolutely a must have for any purpose and or reason. Love the fact it takes batteries and you can also charge it.

Good way to monitor if someone is in the house when they shouldn’t be or if the kids are up moving around when they should be in bed! Follow the directions and you will be fine!

Configured sensor to work with Wink 2 hub and got a “motion detected” alert. It should reset in 4 minutes but never did. Could never get subsequent motion alerts no matter what I did. Useless so I returned it.

Set to notify of motion during day and the to notufy ne and turn on flood lights at night. Mounted to brick on side of house.
