Over the past few years I’ve enjoyed getting the occasional surprise of the generic silver, but the last two orders have been these stupid colorized christmas rounds. YMMV.

Got Christmas stuff again. First time it was All Christmas rounds… this time Christmas shapes ie snowflake and Christmas bell. Was hoping to get something cool, so I ordered more ounces this time. Not the case. If you want Christmas stuff order this. If you don’t, pay the extra $.50 to get what you want.

Ordered 5 ounces of generic silver. Received 5 Monarch Precious Metal Buffalo Rounds. Nothing too exciting, but also wasn’t anything terrible. Was hoping for more variety, but very happy overall. Thanks APMEX!

Once you know how this works it is actually quite good. If you order lots of ounces you either get a bar of that weight or several rounds that are all the same. What you do is spread your order over multiple weeks/months ordering just a few each time. Since I have started doing this I have got different ones almost every time.

I was excited to find out what I would receive when I ordered 3 ounces of generic silver, along with another silver purchase. Well, I really love what I got… 6 – 1/2 oz. dog bone shaped bullions, by YPS. This is something I probably wouldn’t have chosen, but when seeing them, I got excited because they are so unusual!
