Just received today. Will be using to mount 100W panels in the next few weeks. U bolts are for 4″in poles. I’m going to use Sched40 PVC. Will update when done. Just thought folks might want to know size of u bolts included since description does not say. I see there is posted size of 4″ U bolts by manufacturer. Pre-drilled holes for other sizes, but you must purchase these bolts if you want to use different diameter pipe…

Great product. I fastened it to a round fence pole to charge a battery for an electric fence. After several months and a brutally cold and long winter the product stood the test and looks new still.

This is an excellent rack for my other solar panel.
I had to use smaller u bolts and drill some holes to accomodate these u bolts. It really helped to review the instructions a couple of times. Directions were photos.
We assembled part of it indoors so adding the rack to the pole was easier. I also had to purchase 4 nuts that were missing from the package. Not a big deal for me, I have a lot of hardware here.
I was impressed with the strength of this rack and solar panel security. We have some high winds at times.
I am happy with this rack and meets my needs and expectations.

Works well. Looks good. The assembly pictures were a little confusing, but use the washers from the bolts you are not using, then you’ll have enough. The u-bolts are provided for a 4″ pipe, mine was 2″ (or so). The holes in the bracket are for 2.5″ u-bolts, NOT 2″. Save yourself a trip to the hardware store with this knowledge.

The quality of the parts are excellent. The instructions were clear and concise. They use stainless steel screws and the framing parts are extruded aluminum. It was easy to assemble. I installed three of these by myself. The aluminum framing is light and easy to maneuver into position. If you’re mechanically inclined and you have simple tools, you can assemble one of these supports in less than 15 minutes and that’s really taking your time. The hole size slots for the crossbeam connection has three pole sizes: 2″, 4″ and 6 inches, I used the 2″ inch U-bolt for a 2 inch galvanized rigid electrical pipe/conduit for the pole. I highly recommend that you assemble the panel mount before you take it in to the field that way you can easily slide the whole assembly over the top of the pole and tighten the U-bolts into position since it’s that light. One person could do this. I used strut channel to connect the pole to a building so It would be structurally secure. The only negative comment I can make, is that some of the washer hardware was missing, out of one of the cartons, so I had to take a trip to Home Depot. The Q.C. check out the door should have caught that.

Excellent quality, worked even better than I anticipated!
Easy to attach to a pole or existing tubing using kendorf brackets. Will most definitely purchase and use again!
50w Grape Solar panel fits perfectly, all hardware was useful and appropriately sized.

Practice putting this together and carefully consider the tools you’ll need. Simple crescent wrenches, screwdrivers, and a ladder aren’t enough… have 2 ladders and 2 people available. Once you get attached to the pole and parts attached, the parts don’t slide easily and/or slide down and jam. The second person is necessary to hold it in place while you tighten it up, Good mount, really tough to assemble in the air… best to figure it out on the ground if you have pipe the same diameter as the mounting pole

It was easy to assemble and we’ll see about adjusting. As of now, it looks like the end rails will hit the top one when I adjust it, but I’m not sure. It holds the 100 watt WindyNational panel I bought. I’m looking for a 2 panel adjustable pole mount next.

This panel support did the job. Assembly is a bit intricate so do it on the ground rather that at final height. I attached mine to a basketball pole and assembled it then attached the panel before lifting it into position on a pole. Seems stable in the wind. Pay close attention to the Z clips used to attache the panels to the frame. There are two different types. I needed all four clips to be the same for the panel to be secure.
