Yaegarden 400W Wind Turbine Wind Power Generator Kit DC 24V Wind Generator 3 Blades with Controller
$120.00
- The generators, adopting patented permanent magnet rotor alternator, with a special kind of stator design, efficiently decrease resistance torque. Meanwhile, it makes the wind turbines match the generators quite well and increase its reliability.
- Precise injection molding blades together with the optimized design of aerodynamic contour and structure, the blades have such advantages: high utilization of wind energy which contributes to the annual energy output.
- Human friendly design, easy installation, maintenance and repair. Low start up speed; high wind energy utilization; beautiful appearance; low vibration.
- Specifications : Material of wind leaf PBT, Start-up Wind Speed 2.0m/s, Rated Wind Speed 10m/s, Rated Power 400W, Rated Voltage DC24V.

Controller is only sensing 12v, not automatically detecting 24v. Waiting for response/resolution from the manufacturer.

Your ad shows a tower that connects to the turbine, yet no tower is included with the item.

Seems good so far. It runs an off grid lawnmower repair shop- if the wind blows. I use 2 deep cycle batteries and a 2000w inverter. Charges batteries ok, seems maybe a little small for my usage, but off grid cabins, stuff that doesnt get used every day it would be fine. Good for me so far, just wish I would have gotten the 600w because of every day use.

It was easy to install. I live off grid wind in Lancaster can go pretty fast. Its been up running none stop. I plan to buy many many more

the winds here are to say the least strong, 30 and normal, 50 for days at a time, 80 for a few hours and gust over 100. The wind mill is still here, I have had 7 before this brand, most did not last a week, record is 4 hours.
I did not get this as main power but as something to just add a little back at night, solar is the main source and my home is 100% off grid, never has been on line power.
It like others was over rated for its power output but I will leave the numbers I have gathered here for you to judge for your self.
30 to 35 MPH winds
open circuit volts phase to phase on the AC side 120 to 135 VDC
On the batteries AC drops to 24 to 26VAC
Open Circuit on the DC side gets up to 100 to 115 VDC
Again on the batteries 24.5 to 28.0 VDC
Max output amps at 30 to 40 MPH winds 5 to 6 amps
S 6 I times max 28 VDC means a total of 168 watts
As I said I use it to help keep B+ up not so much to be a main charging unit and it does help.
