I like the way you can adjust the angle of the panel. It seems a little flimsy, could have used thicker material for the brackets.

I initially purchased this and it was delivered with missing hardware. Amazon customer reached out to me and gave me a small credit for the missing parts so I can purchase the missing parts locally.
Surprisingly BougeRV also reached out to me and provided me with an extra set of hardware at no charge.
I posted a somewhat unfavorable review initially which I must now retract.
I have used this on a Trina 230 watt solar panel with 63×41 inch dimensions. I thought the thickness was a little flimsy but it withstood up to 30 mph winds at a 45 degree angle with no problems. I would like to say I would not hesitate to buy this item again. The large knobs are a plus over those using small wingnuts.

Product doesn’t close flat because of poor design of tilt bar. Its like they’re a quarter inch too long and no one checked before boxing it.
After talking with the manufacturer, they said the tilt bars are meant to be removed when closed flat. They are planning to redesign it in the future but current product requires removal.
They also said it is safe to drive with them tilted, but the manual says it isn’t. They seem sturdiness, but I dont know about highway speeds tilted..
I’ve updated my review from 1 star to 4 stars because the product works as advertised but still needs some improvements on the tilt panels. Ill add pictures of it in use once I get them fully mounted to my van. I believe this will be a 5 star product after the redesign

in fact better than the eco competitor. I appreciated the larger angle dimensions. I did have to drill a couple of new holes to make the system work better with the wingnuts . for some reason they drilled the holes in the cross braces in the wrong side of the angle aluminum which made the wingnuts not spin freely on assembly. redrilling was an easy fix and overall the final project was a big improvement over the eco product.

I used these mounts for ground frames for two 200W solar panels. I am very impressed by the quality and price of the BougeRV mounts and the panels. I will recommend them to anyone who asks. I thought about making my own mounts, but after looking the at the materials for the project and their costs, I decided it was cheaper to buy the BourgeRV mounts.

Each strut has to be completely dismantled and stored away when in flat or traveling mode. It could have been designed to allow the removable strut to stay attached when the panel is in the flat position. The brackets are strong enough and can be mounted on a RV roof, so I give it points for that.

used these to mount 2 solar panels on my cargo trailer. they work well. easy to put up and down with the screws and wing nuts it comes with. only issue i had was when putting it together i noticed even though the pieces seem to be cut the same they always seemed to be off a little on the two i used on the panel even when using the same hole. may be the panel and not the metal angle. not sure if the holes in the panels are off they seem to be the same. works well and unless you can get them cheaper they are good.
