Item came in on time, unpacked and set up to fully charge. Parts were packed to prevent any damage. The only thing that wasn’t packed was a charging cord, a msg from Amazon wAs received with a order to send cords. Not received yet, otherwise product was as representative. A power chart should also be sent with unit, went on line and printed out power usage sheet.

After a 5 day power outage this winter, we knew we needed something to minimize our suffering. We considered a whole-house generator but the price tag and the noise and need for propane made it a purchase we really weren’t eager to make. This Generark is a good compromise for us. It won’t power a microwave or even my tea kettle. We have to figure out just what we *can* plug in… 1000 watts is pretty limiting. But we CAN charge our devices, and we can plug in a lamp. I love that is is solar powered. We live in the woods and don’t get enough sun to justify having a full solar installation. But we get enough sun on our deck to charge the Generark in a couple of days, and i like that i can plug my tablet into the solar panel directly and charge it (albeit quite slowly). I feel that this is a good starter for us. It introduced us to solar, and we are learning about it. Maybe we will buy a bigger solar battery/generator one of these days, but this gives me peace of mind. And i can lift it. Many such batteries would require a dolly or at least a big strong man. I can lug this around the house where it’s needed.

After loosing power twice for several days in one month , we decided to buy this portable generator,
What I like about this generator, is that you don’t have to worry about gasoline or propane and carbon monoxide.
Charge the battery and put it in the room you need to use it for. Very quiet, works nice.
    Light weight, for the size.
    I would recommend this generator.

In this time of worry about our power grid it is great to have this product as backup. It charged very quickly and is not overly large so can be stored easily. It certainly provides some peace of mind.

This was very easy to charge up from my wall outlet. Haven’t used the other options but they look like they would work also. Haven’t fully discharged the battery yet but ran a couple small appliances and only used up about 10% of the capacity. The recharge was fairly quick. A little expensive but I don’t have to rely on gasoline for power.

Used this to run my ham radio station, had no RF interference. Only thing I heard from the unit was when the fan turned on and would run for a only about a minute. If it hadn’t been on the floor next to me I probably wouldn’t even have heard it. Very quite.

I connected it to my refrigerator and the refrigerator stopped working, even from the wall socket so I thought my refrigerator was bad so I bought a new refrigerator. I connected it to my new refrigerator and the same thing happened. The technician said that a part was damaged in the refrigerator, I am still without a refrigerator waiting for the new part! I have no idea how it could damage a refrigerator, but it did! Two of them!
