Love it will be an essential for camping this season. When I ordered I forgot to enter the opening day promo code so I contacted the seller who said a refund would be applied upon shipping. They were true to their word! Wish it had a 5.5 mm jack and second cig outlet. Handling more solar or higher voltage even would have been awesome! I hunt and fish off grid and this is the best piece of kit I have purchased so far. It will run my fridge, coffee pot etc. I am now spoiled.

Today is March 30th and decided to give the Explorer 1000 another chance. I plugged in my regular things: laptop, portable monitor, IPad and IPhone. Started my day at 7:00 AM and finished 3:45 PM. To my surprise the results were different. I had 67% remaining. It fair to say, I needed to let the Explorer settle in. Love the fact that I don’t have to plug in my IPad 11 to AC anymore due to the USB-C the Explorer 1000 has. The more I use it, the more confident I feel with it. I will definitely use it more than my Goal Zero 1000. Explorer is so much lighter and has everything you need. One of the things I admire about Jackery is their Service Support. I had the pleasure of working with one of their Specialist who provided some insight and answered all my questions. I’m very pleased Jackery stands by their products 100%. I’m looking forward to their larger Explorer to use as an emergency backup power to my home. Anyone considering Jackery, I can tell you, you won’t be disappointed. Take care.
I received my Explorer 1000 and plugged up my 14 inch laptop, a 12 inch portable monitor, an IPad 11 and a IPhone in the morning around 7:00am. It’s now almost 11:00 AM and I’m down to 62%. The fan has turned on about 4 times ( once and hour). I was expecting to get to about 65% by 3:30 PM. I ran the same test the day before with my Goal Zero 1000 and it lasted the whole day with 67% remaining. Don’t get me wrong, I really like the Jackery, it’s lighter than the Goal Zero it will power my devices it has a USB-C which the GZ doesn’t have. But it will not last as long as the GZ. This is why I can’t give it more than two stars. My mistake was thinking that both devices would give me the same results. Somewhat disappointed. Another thing about the Goal Zero, the fan never turned on the entire time I was using it. I hope this review will help anyone who is interested in this product. Take care

Absolutely THRILLED by the performance of the Jackery Explorer 1000. Highly, Highly Recommended!
Jackery is the name that I have heard the most during my search for a “solar generator” (The marketing term for Portable Power Station). I’ve watched numerous review videos covering ALL the major brands, but the Jackery is the one that everyone loves, regardless.
I picked the Jackery Explorer 1000 as I want to do some van-camping and need power for (at least) my CPAP machine, and preferably for more than a couple of nights. I also purchased a 170w solar panel to charge it if needed.
My secondary use is for my company use, to have portable AC power at my storage facility which does not have AC Power, to run and test servers, PCs, and network equipment which we test, upgrade and refurbish. My Jackery E1000 will run a 300 Watt load for 3 hours at a time, and it often lasts 6 hours or more as we don’t pull 300 Watts continuously. Also, a HUGE plus is the weight! Only 22 lbs for 1000w of portable power, nothing else comes close.

Okay, I will start out by saying I am a U.S Service-member with over twenty years of Honorable service. With that being said I’ve done multiple tours to almost every desert in the Middle East, tours in tropical environments, tours in some pretty secluded off grid undisclosed locations. I only put this out there because I’ve had the pleasure of being a Jackery customer for years and years and the Jackery 240 portable power station, , the Jackery Solar Saga 60w tri-fold panels, and the small Jackery portable chargers were compact and lightweight enough to fit into my pack with ease and leave me room for the other essentials. Imagine being in the middle of nowhere and have a weeks worth of power at your fingertips for recharges, lights, portable fans, small burner for coffee and cooking. Then being able to say it never failed you, always recharged quickly, and has been through the worlds harshest conditions and environments, yet functions like the day you pulled it out of the box. So this began my Jackery passion. Which led me to purchase the Jackery 500. Everything I’ve said above applies to the 500 ten fold folks. Being Military my pay isn’t great so I’ve had to accumulate these items over the course of years, however never have I had to justify spending the money to my wife, as long as I said the word Jackery. Because she’s used the items as well here at home guard. My son plays Football and daughter plays soccer in the Nevada desert just miles away from where the annual Burning Man event is held. Hot dry desert climate, no trees for shade, just direct unrelenting heat. This genius woman, the love of my life used our Jackery Portable power stations to run dual fans, and a small refrigerated trucker cooler during daytime practices in a pop up sunshade tent, all neatly placed in one of those little soccer mom wheeled totes, and a folding low loveseat chair. Talk about super mom, with lots of friends who also wanted to stay cool. Then when night fell and the kids weren’t finished with practice, my lovely wife handed over the Jackery 500 to the coaches who then plugged LED lights into it and lit up the field for the kids giving us an extra hour or two to practice without the heat. This convinced her to give me permission to buy the SolarSaga 100w panels. Money was tight but she gave me the go ahead and we’ve never looked back and haven’t got an ounce of regret or buyers remorse for a single product. But this review is neither for the the Jackery 240, the Jackery 500, the SolarSaga 100w or 60w panels. It’s not even for the Jackery portable chargers. This review is to let you know, the day the Jackery 1000w Portable Power Station became available we did not hesitate for a second to buy it. With the stories we heard from friends about California and Washington power outages, the Covid-19 Pandemic, and any one of the many RV trips we take into Gods country to get away from it all for a few weeks, we both agreed this was the best thing for our family. Why use heavy loud generators, carry fuel, deal with all that monotonous nonsense, when you could literally live off the Jackery Families products. I say Family because over the years I’ve had multiple email contacts and numerous phone calls with them, and every interaction was amazing. Courteous, professional, and the products are literally second to none. The Jackery 1000 is my newest addition and there’s nothing I can say about it that the 240 or 500 don’t already represent. Twice the power, twice the life, multiple solar panel options, can recharge through car, wall, or good ol sunshine. I could get technical and go down the path as some of these reviewers do, but you anyone can read the box. I can sum everything the box says by just telling you that these products, put out by this amazing company, can enhance anyone’s life, save somebodies life, and will probably last your the rest of yours. It’s a no brainer for us. I’ve purchased every product so far with a smile knowing its perfect and the people handing it to me care enough to treat you as if you were family.

I ordered this Jackery 1000 in March and so far I’m very happy with my purchase.
1000 watts is more than what I need for my type of camping.
It can ran my space heater for over 1 hr. or more if I do it intermittently.
I was also able to ran my Panasonic express toaster oven rated @1300 watts for more than 5 min.
without cutting out. For amount of time that I used it I never missed my Yamaha 2000 gen.
I just charged it with the included ac charger plugged in to a small 400 watt inverter while driving.
con is the status meter is very slow it takes a while to read the wattage.
The best thing is I was able to buy it at Amazon.ca.
Jackery has got a good reputation for it’s product and I highly recommend it to my friends.

The Jackery 1000 is finally a unit large enough (capacity and watt output level) to use as the backbone of a complete power system in a van, camper, or standalone for weekend getaways. At 1000 watts output, its large enough to run all the critical components you need in a power outage, large enough to manage the surge on things like small fridges etc. The 1000Wh capacity also is key to back up the large inverter and will happily handle most power requirements over a long weekend if not longer depending on usage. The addition of the anderson power pole input means that you can charge it direct from solar at a decent rate as well 170 watt~ . So for grid down, offgrid situations, this really can be an all in one solution for power with enough reserve energy to get you through a cloudy day for light applications! To purchase the components separate to put together something like this you would be spending more money and you would end up with something not as portable as this. The purchase of a lithium battery along with a value near 100 amp hours runs $1000 at least. For these reasons, if you need a simple, all in one power solution, or emergency system, this is a no brainer, and Jackery units also have a very good reputation for quality so far in previous models. This is definitely one of the best units out there for price vs functionality!

For those of you who are thinking about buying a Jackery power station. These are one of the best on the market. I am retired and spend a great deal of time in the outdoors. I use my 1000 watt power station to keep me Fridge Freezer cold on those hot summer days plus my cameras charged. I even use it to power my Electric motor for my Canoe. PS when you are old you need all the help you can find . And don`t ever worry about getting help from the staff that works for Jackery they are amazing.
