I bought these portable solar panels do use when we go camping. And it does exactly what it supposed to. It’s small yet powerful. I haven’t tried yet camping but when I tried it at home I was able to power and charge a cell phone, a tablet, a laptop and an electric hot plate. It’s definitely worth having now that the warm weather and outdoor season has begun.

I didn’t have any issues charging my phone with it and it’s nice that it has a handle and when it folds you can easily carry it around like a briefcase. The adapters are useful. It doesn’t come with a charging cable for phones though, but that’s not a big deal.

This is an awesome product, one that will surely be used many times by any doomsday preparer or average person like me! It’s a foldable three paneled solar array, and covers a wide footprint despite the portable size. It’s well built and sturdy, and comes with multiple cords and converters to charge different devices. It has a standard DC out port, as well as a USB out to charge portable electronic devices. In the sun, it does take awhile to get going, and don’t expect it to charge your phone in a few minutes, it’s much slower than a wall outlet. However, it does keep going and when it works it’s wonderful! When it’s cloudy I’ve noticed it not doing as well, but other than that it’s great. Direct sunlight is a must. It also has a light covering on it, meaning if it’s a little damp outside it should be fine, but don’t leave it in the rain. Overall, I highly recommend!

Review for: 60 Watt Portable Solar Panels, Foldable Solar Panel Charger, Compatible with Solar Power Stations/Phones/laptops/12V Batteries, Suitable for Family Camping/Travel/Hiking Various Outdoor Activities
I’ve collected quite a few solar panels / sets now and this one is pretty forgettable. But let’s go into the pros/cons
Pros
=Easily foldable and portable for carrying around
=somewhat reasonable price
=includes a bunch of bonus connectors for various things
Standard
=IP65 Enclosure – IP rated as “dust tight” and protected against water projected from a nozzle.
=stands to better position the panels into the sun
Cons
=connectors are not especially durable and easily damaged
=generic panel/brand with no reputation that I’m aware of
=only 2.1 USB connection. Not 3.0.
=no usb-c connection
I’d recommend spending more for a 100w panel set if you’re able.
Warning
Do not hook solar panels and alligator clips to a battery without a solar charge controller. You might damage something. That’s why some sets include it OR when you connect it to a power station, the power station manages that.

This thing is amazing. Super-light, ridiculously easy to use, and all the attachments fit into one pocket in the front. Looking forward to using this at the beach this summer, or the next apocalypse (whichever comes first).
